Crystal Dynamics Opens Southwest Studio Led by Industry Vets - IGN

Crystal Dynamics has formed a new Texas studio that will work on the company's major games.

Dubbed “Crystal Southwest,” the Austin studio will be headed by Dallas Dickinson (the irony isn’t lost on us). According to LinkedIn, Dickinson has spent a little under two years as an executive producer at Crystal Dynamics. Prior to that, Dickinson spent almost five years as President and CEO of QC Games, which developed the now-defunct action-RPG Breach. Dickinson formed QC Games in 2015 alongside other veterans of Bioware, where Dickinson worked as a production director for six years.

naa they aren't saving none, The initiative needed people anyway reached full production .... you don't do a good AAA with 60 people today. CD is in a weird position where they are putting themselves ... outsourcing is a thing co-developing is a other type of stuff also and possibly at an economic level. I was joking but not too much about ms looking at CD

You embarrassing yourself ..man....the AAA or AAAA part that is related to the budget available to the team ... and in fact you know what 1 whole other studio already famous to be helped took. It's not our problem if you don't know or even worse understand how video game development works
