No, after playing Uncharted 4, Lost Legacy and TLOU 2, watching the TLOU tv show and hearing Neil Druckmann talk about 'diversity' a few years ago, and also sawing what Sony did with several other non ND IPs including one with furry characters, I think that for the time being we won't see another white male heterosexual character in a ND game.
That includes no Nate and no Joel as main characters in ND developed games, and geetting replaced by 'non-sexualized' (ugly) and pretty likely non-white or LGBT females, with maybe some (probably not white or heterosexual) male as support character.
I think Sony may ask other studios make games with Nate or Joel as main characters if upcoming ND games underperform in sales once some of their fans no longer have the "post TLOU1 hype" and "post Uncharted 4 hype" and are more aware of the ideological propaganda stuff that annoyed some of them in TLOU2 or (pretty acurate name) Lost Legacy.
Something more related to hating to see their favorite iconic characters replaced by uncharismatic bad (woke) copies of them and to not wanting to be lectured or getting propaganda on their games than being racist, sexist or lgtb phobic, because these people didn't complain in games like TLOU1, GoT etc. where there were female, lgtb or non-white folks properly portrayed with iconic characters important for the story what was there as a key part to build a great game, instead of being mediocre tokenism filler characters to fill 'inclusivity' quotas, moving the focus on making a great game to focus more on propaganda.
Speaking of uncharted, where the hell is it? Wasn't there supposedly a new studio built just to make a new uncharted game? Maybe it was fake rumours but I highly doubt sony are done with uncharted when it's one of their biggest games.
The real story behind this rumor was that some staff of Sony VASG from San Diego leaded by Michael Mumbauer started a new team by their own (without asking permission to Sony) many years ago to pitch first CG tv shows or films of PS IPs (before the current PS Productions push of making adaptations) using cutscene game assets. One of them, the main pitch was for Uncharted.
The pitches were rejected and were told to go back to make games. After that they thought about their own games because some of them were tired of being a support team, but realize that their game were mostly artists only, so thought that was going easier to get a remake greenglighted. So they started to prototype an Uncharted 1 remake reusing the assets they did for the film pitch. That was the rumored Uncharted that existed made in a new team.
They noticed that the gameplay was too updated and needed a lot of changes in game design or programming areas, so it died and wasn't greenlighted. They instead tought about making a TLOU1 remake instead because the gameplay was more modern and didn't that much changes to update it, and they could reuse some TLOU2 stuff. So they pitched it with the idea of including it bundled with a PS5 TLOU version. This is how TLOU Part I was born. At the start, they did lead the development and ND only overviewed and supported the game providing original assets etc.
Time later, in 2019 Hermen Hulst became head of PS Studios and realized that the TLOUP1 project existed. He supposedly (according to Bloomberg) didn't like the project, thought that they were had spended too much money on it and mandated to that Sony VASG to go back to their original gamedev support to complete the development of the remake, where ND now would have the lead of the project to complete it with a more reasonable budget and quality.
Mumbauer and a handful leads more of that project some time later left Sony to basically work in two projects: first to create a new IP (Ashfall) and game studio with the Syphon Filter and Days Gone creative director and second to create different company to adapt game IPs to CG films or tv shows using cutscene game assets.
