Apparently it's 30 fps, but it has DLSS AA.
How do you not get 60 fps, my pc in 2011 was running it at that.
Ah Hodd Toward. The giga chad of games.
That GPU is like twice as powerful as the Switch 2 when docked. But even then it should be able to handle 1080p/60 on the Special Edition when docked (just barely).Yeah game worked fine on my old pc with a Nividia 980gtx graphic card.
Currently? They always have. Skyrim and Oblivion on PS3 comes to mind. Even Morrowind on Xbox was so badly coded it had to restart the console in the background during loading to free up RAM.Because Bethesda currently employs some of the most incompetent people in the industry.
I didn't get that, I own the physical Skyrim game that came out in 2017 and I didn't get a free upgrade, is there a reason for that?Free Switch upgrade, nice.
Great game.
I think you need to have the Anniversary Edition for free upgrade. Let me do some snooping to check.I didn't get that, I own the physical Skyrim game that came out in 2017 and I didn't get a free upgrade, is there a reason for that?
£17.99? Fuck that.If you already own The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Switch then you can pick up the Switch 2 version for a small cost — or maybe even free. You see, the Switch 2 version is the fancy Anniversary Edition, which includes the three official expansions that have been released, plus hundreds of Creation Club items. If you have the standard version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Switch, then, you can upgrade to the Switch 2 Anniversary Edition for £17.99. And if you own the Anniversary Edition on the original Switch, you can upgrade to the Switch 2 version for free.
Game was on sale weeks ago for 20Fuckers didnt even put it on Sale on Switch ... 60 Euros for an old shit game LMAO FUCK MY ASS
Not PS3 games, no. We have already several examples of PS3-gen open-world games running at 60fps on Switch 2 (which the PS4 couldn't do). Most games on Switch 2 have the same framerate as the PS4 version with better IQ. It is what it is.
The problem is the CPU.
Have yet to play this game.
... Despite owning 2-3 different versions of it
It's coming. And don't call me Surly.Damn was expecting Ovlivion first TBH… maybe next year. I'm holding out on Skyrim for the WebOS version myself.. it's surly coming
I'm surprised they haven't done this. That Apple silicone wipes the floor with everything else in the mobile chipset space. If Skyrim is going to work well on mobile, it'll be iPhone. When's the iOS release?
According to Reddit it's still 30fps. Kind of disappointing as this is an old ass game.

Running an old game like that at 30 fps is lazy in another level.
No 60 fps is true what the fuck????
Anyone justifying a 2011 game being rereleased on 2025 hardware at 30fps needs a reality check.
£17.99 is the price of the standard Anniversary upgrade for Switch. It goes on sale for £8.99 every 6 weeks or so, slightly more palatable but they should have done a dual free upgrade including for people who just own the base game.I think you need to have the Anniversary Edition for free upgrade. Let me do some snooping to check.

Really? I thought the Switch 2 was much faster than a 980 gtx. That GPU is like twice as powerful as the Switch 2 when docked. But even then it should be able to handle 1080p/60 on the Special Edition when docked (just barely).
YesBut does it support the mouse feature..?!
30 FPS Switch 2 edition
I'd probably quadruple dipI'm surprised they haven't done this. That Apple silicone wipes the floor with everything else in the mobile chipset space. If Skyrim is going to work well on mobile, it'll be iPhone.
everyday I regret getting the switch 2.
Nope. The Switch 2 GPU is a bit behind the 980 in raw rasterization performance. The Switch 2 tops out around 3 TFLOPS docked, while the 980 delivers about 5.Really? I thought the Switch 2 was much faster than a 980 gtx.
If this is 60fps then I'll grab the upgrade today.
Release day Skyrim on PS3 is peak gaming. Cinematic 24 fps and dragons flying backwards.
Really? I thought the Switch 2 was much faster than a 980 gtx.
