Would be fucking amazing. Was just today thinking how nice Nioh onboard a flight would be. I would buy both the handheld and home console - but sync needs to be rock solid robust

I expect it in 700-900$ range. And depending if it's 2027 or 2028 release date.

Maybe even 599$ if the are prepared to lose a good chunk of money on every unit for 1-2 years.

RDNA5 will use that bandwidth more efficiently.
So but, the lazy devs and a cancer UE5

I heard a rumour (Think it was a MLID video) that Sony are going for affordability, but that was before the RAM crisis.

I agree with you. 599 might be the sweet spot where it doesn't scare off consumers and Sony are able to eat the costs for a year or two.

Same.

A handheld that allowed me to download games from my PS library and play them wherever I want...........day 1 without question.

Sales of the portal have been better than expected, and that isn't a native handheld. I think a PS6 proper handheld would do PS2 numbers.

I think ps6 is going to last at least 10 years, people just not upgrading as often now, and the technological leap gap is shorter and shorter, games should run well in the long run now

I wonder how much the handheld will run considering current component and wafer pricing.

I can't see them selling it for over $700 or so but that would seem "too cheap" in the current market unless Sony is willing to lose some $$.

They will, they did with PS3 in order to have a relatively affordable product and they're in a position of having several revenue streams to subsidize it, none of which existed back in 2006.
