Sometimes it can be difficult if that's what your friends are into. Why would anyone play something they don't like? It's ok to dislike Pokémon. You don't need to justify it.
I'd probably get different friends before I made myself miserable trying to fit in with people who aren't into what I'm into.Sometimes it can be difficult if that's what your friends are into.
This is a video game forum where grown men and women play and talk about video games. No one here is trying to get laid right nowAt 28, you should be out there trying to get laid, not playing Pokemon.
^^ThisPlay SMT instead. They are aimed to a young-adult audience with it's dark tone and themes, and also have more depth to it's gameplay.
They are basically better games.

Strongly agree with this. It's perfectly fine if you are not into those games, I have played earlier gen games so much that now I feel that I simply wasted my time getting so many of the pokemons to lv 100 and what not. But I enjoyed doing that back then so it's fine.At 28 you should be mature enough to understand that you aren't required to keep trying something you dislike.
Ah shit lol, english isn't my first language, yeah I am definitely getting laid lol

Pretty sure Pokemon GO dating was a thing, we call this multitasking

But to answer you, no. Pokémon has falling from the high's of our childhood, it's lacking creativity and evolution.
Pokemon is Nintendo's most overrated franchise. I said what I said.
I just made a fool out of myself with this dumb thread I wish I could delete it but I don't know howAnd you posted this reply on the perfect post number
I have never played it, tried it once but not my cup of tea that's why I am making this thread.
Aw no one's good on their first time getting laid, you have to try it a few more times
That means he was a kid when it came out, and it terms of nostalgia, him playing Pokemon sounds reasonable. Unlike the 30-40 years old pedo pokemon lovers? What does being a millennial have to do with it?
In all honesty and on topic, I've only liked Red/Blue/Yellow myself in terms of mainline games. The mainline ones after just felt like repeated content. I say just play two of the mainline games and then try out some of the non-mainline/spin off story stuff because those actually have deeper and more enjoyable stories to them than just catching them all and becoming the best trainer.I just made a fool out of myself with this dumb thread I wish I could delete it but I don't know how
Can I direct you to Pokémon rom hacks. I’m currently playing blaze black 2 redux, renegade platinum following, and luminescent. They make the games so much betterSo I was 5 when the show was popular and everyone watched it including me but I never got to play the games because when I was a kid I used to find turn based rpgs to be boring, but now as an adult I tried Pokemon Arceus on the switch and it was addicting but around the middle, the game became too repetitive to me and stopped playing altogether it so I think I am too old to like Pokemon now and a franchise that I will never get into.
This isn’t it I don’t like every game in the series you have to find that 1 specific game that clicks for you… or just play romhacksI'm 42 and this series has been around since I was like 14. I never got into it either. But yeah you should know that yourself after giving a couple games a try anyhow. Just play what you like man.
Back in the day, one of the main reasons pokemon was such a big deal was the social aspect of the game like trading pokemon, battling with friends and showing off the rare pokemon that you were able to get.So I was 5 when the show was popular and everyone watched it including me but I never got to play the games because when I was a kid I used to find turn based rpgs to be boring, but now as an adult I tried Pokemon Arceus on the switch and it was addicting but around the middle, the game became too repetitive to me and stopped playing altogether it so I think I am too old to like Pokemon now and a franchise that I will never get into.
Although should get used to it from a dating perspectiveAt 28 you should be mature enough to understand that you aren't required to keep trying something you dislike.
I'm 32 (so I guess old enough to appreciate simple turn-based RPGs) and played them religiously from the Red/Blue and then Yellow all the way up to about Sapphire (I think on the DS?) before I sort of "snapped out of it" and realized it was the same fucking game over and over with a different set of sprites. So I was 5 when the show was popular and everyone watched it including me but I never got to play the games because when I was a kid I used to find turn based rpgs to be boring, but now as an adult I tried Pokemon Arceus on the switch and it was addicting but around the middle, the game became too repetitive to me and stopped playing altogether it so I think I am too old to like Pokemon now and a franchise that I will never get into.
I have the sex in the vaginaAt 28, you should be out there trying to get laid, not playing Pokemon.
No, he's right. It gets even worse when you're married.
Do yourself a favour and play Arceus, or at least try picking an Emerald copySo I was 5 when the show was popular and everyone watched it including me but I never got to play the games because when I was a kid I used to find turn based rpgs to be boring, but now as an adult I tried Pokemon Arceus on the switch and it was addicting but around the middle, the game became too repetitive to me and stopped playing altogether it so I think I am too old to like Pokemon now and a franchise that I will never get into.
