Obama displayed an understanding of policy and an intellectual curiosity that Sanders has not. Obama built an incredibly effective campaign team, he won by always being over prepared. Everything about his 2008 campaign exuded competence and confidence.

You argued that Sander's doesn't need to know the answer to some questions because he can surround himself with people who have the ability to do so. it's then pointed out that his campaign is indicative of his capacity to do so, and that's he's done a bad job at staffing his campaign as evidenced by his lack of prep for this interview, (or the fact that he's going to lose in general)

Foreign policy is the one thing that Presidents explicitly has power over Congress and the Supreme Court. It's the one thing that presidents have direct control over with some limited interference from Congress. If he doesn't understand his role as president, then he doesn't have the qualifications as one.

What does this have to do with Sanders being clearly unprepared for just about every aspect of foreign policy? You're point about Clinton could be valid but it means nothing in terms of Sanders being qualified.
This is the problem with people who get their talking points from dank memes instead of actual facts.

Bernie openly said he'd rather not talk about that, and the guy still kept asking questions about it. "I'm not well informed enough on this to answer you" is a completely honest and understandable response.

It's too bad that foreign policy is one of the areas under a president's purview that they have almost exclusive powers for their own agenda. Making questions on any foreign policy stance very relevant to someone running for president.

He was being interviewed on a Latin station about Latin countries, no shit he was asked questions and expected to know. The interviewer was rightly sticking with these questions because, surprise surprise, Latin America is right next to the US and represents a massive voter and demographic base within the US.
This isn't like asking him about Kyrgyzstani trade agreements. This is shit he should know if he agreed to do an interview for Univision. Bernie should have been prepared to answer those questions because of the avenue through which this interview was conducted. It's on him, not the interviewer.
This speaks overwhelmingly to the point that people continue to try and make. That Bernie isn't interested in doing anything but repeating his party line over and over and over again.
And the Ron Paul tactic stops working once people see that there is nothing deeper than that.
What do you expect from a station that caters to Latinos, not just the generic umbrella of Hispanics, but specifically Latin American immigrants. Especially when the interview is framed not long from the California primary. A state with one of the largest demographics of Latinos in the nation.
Moreover he was asked about an opinion of a country he himself had touted about before due to their socialist history. Why it failed and what he thought on it. It's not out of left field. Our neighbors aren't going into political/economic turmoil in a void. They're not far from our doorstep.

He should have had days, if not weeks, to prep for this. The fact that he refused to move from his stump speech is pretty damn telling of how little he gives a shit about doing anything but rattling the saber as long as he can at this point.

I think when your entire campaign has been advocating an economic policy revolution it's a fair question to ask about times where the viewers have seen similar rhetoric leading to situations where once-functioning nations are now rationing food.

And guess what? Many of these American Latinos have close connections to their country of origins. Many still have families living there and actually live there themselves, either to vacation, school, for work or all three. Sometimes, they even send money to their loved ones in those countries. What happens in there directly affect their lives here in the USA.
