Fuck I got this post mixed up with the PS Plus one in the notifications and I thought I was getting 2K Drive and Botany Manor 😢

Time to buy an Xbox Series X and subscribe to GP, just to get these two free games and then sell it right after I complete them. That's the only way.

😂…could be easier just to buy the games on PlayStation? 🤷‍♂️😂

2k Drive was on PS Plus as a monthly game in December 2023:

If you redeemed at the time the game should still be on your library to download. If you didn't... That's a pity.

I just recently re-subbed for a month, but if this is an indication of what to look forward to, looks like I won't be renewing once I'm done the Diablo IV campaign.

Come on now. You can't look at this line up and call it amazing. Surely you jest.
This is just supposed to keep you busy for 2 weeks.

Harold Halibut has been one of my most anticipated indies for a while. Hopefully it delivers. Had a few great trailers.
Botany Manor caught my eye when it was announced at the Nintendo Direct. I'll always try a new puzzle game.
Lego 2K looks like Sonic Racing Transformed almost. Not into the Lego brand at all, but I'll try this. Interesting to see a racing game from Visual Concepts of all people.
Lil' Gator Game has a nearly perfect rating on Steam. Seems charming.

Late April we already know we're getting Eiyuden Chronicles day 1 and Another Crab's Treasure day 1 (that makes 4 for April). And Jedi Survivor hits 12 months following release on April 28th so that's possibly coming as well. Then Hellblade 2 next month. Seems Hollow Knight 2 might drop at some point soon also.

Kona and Tomb Raider are disappointing additions, and they're both old. I don't care for PGA personally but that's fine.

Seems expensive to buy a Xbox for those two games when you can get them on the already owned PlayStation, and drive was even free a couple of months ago on plus.

Seems Netflix is expensive too, I have to buy a TV, pay for internet service, pay for electricity, damn, I think I rather go to the movie theater and buy DVDs instead :messenger_halo:

How is the PGA game?
I've play the ten hour trial a couple of times since launch. It's pretty good. Solid golf engine and lots of content. It's improved a lot since launch too. They added a 60fps mode, a three click swing option and lots of other little tweaks following feedback. Harks back to some of the older Tiger Woods games as you have the option to turn on applying spin whilst in the air.

Well worth a try. My only real criticism was the overly flashy EA production. Got in the way when all you wanted to do was okay a shot. That also improved.

Agree with this…exactly why I said bye to Netflix over a year ago and didn’t look back. I did just sell my 750+ dvd collection last month though. My internet service gives me Peacock for free, and that’s good enough for me these days.

Best deal in gaming crowd appears, walks right across and off stage. What a show! Phil Spencer Approves

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
For this one it would probably be best to wait a while... I played the beta and it was rough. I don't think they'll be able to patch all that needs to be patched until launch. It feels like it's lacking a whole 6 months of polish.

Rough how, bugs or performance? Or lack of meaningful content?

Sarah Bond posted on Twitter that Silksong is coming to gamepass day 1

Yep, they announced it GP day 1 with the games original announcement IIRC.

Imagine Microsoft kills their little influential programs, what will happen with all our lovely passionate gamers? Just *POOF*, just like that? Or will they keep posting like zombies?

Jesus GP has gone to shit. I did the conversion hing again last month and immediately regretted it. I should've just bought the dumb Gold sub and left it at that. Blind optimism has always been my weak point.

Yep, they announced it GP day 1 with the games original announcement IIRC.

Performance (it kinda hanged a few times for me and stutter was very common), lack of QoL (some quests require killing multiples of a said enemy who is very rare and the encounter rate is also very low), graphical issues (pop-in is terrible, DoF effect works in a very weird obscuring stuff in cutscenes that are obviously not supposed to be so, lighting also behaves weirdly).

I mean the game was a blast from the section available, but it was far from ready.

Surprised it took EA this long to decide to put PGA Tour up on EA Play.

Then again, I suppose it makes some sense as the 2024 Masters Tournament is about a week after it drops.
