These are pictures from the recent EQ Fan Faire in Vegas and Curt Schilling showed up. Apparenly he's in Drow on Unrest in EQII which is the big "Uber" guild on the server:

I think he wrote a review for one of the EQ expansions for some game mag. I always liked Schill (except for him refusing to play for the Indians) and that is pretty cool of him to meet his fellow clan mates.

It's also really cool that he is wearing a Steeler hat in these pictures....

And he's not even from the 'Burgh....

Kurt's also a bigtime wargamer. When Avalon Hill closed down he bought the rights to the game "Advanced Squad Leader" and kept the series going. He also runs some wargaming forum my dad always goes to.

I remember hearing an interview with him a year or so back and he was talking about how much he loves to play EQ. He takes a kick-ass laptop with him on the road and prefers to stay in his hotel room playing rather than going out with the other guys on the town.

He did refuse to give out his character's name at the time, for obvious reasons. :lol

WHO DEY!?
Why, God, is he wearing a T Shirt tucked into warm up pants?

That ranks up there with Khakis and white tennis shoes, or sandals and jeans.

If anything EQ is in PC Gamer, Curt probably wrote the review for it.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.

He's always wearing Steelers and Pirates gear. He's from Alaska, though, so I guess he's gotta pick some city.
