Disney got Microsoft to change its AI image generator because people were making too many savage Pixar-style posters

But Disney has NO tolerance for these sorts of shenanigans. So much so that they have made Bing disable their art generator to mimic Disney's style and logo.

ARTIFICIAL™ intelligence, indeed.
They (Disney) had no reason to change the image generator. Regular people pretty much gave them 20-years of material worth billions. Those were an easy sell to the international distributors in China too who are probably pissed when they found out these movies weren't real.

Starlight actress is godly good looking. I didn't watch all the The Boys episodes. I quit midway through season 2. I had enough of the nerdy Hughie guys always acting like wimp. It got to a point as the series progressed I just watched it for gory kills and Starlight.

If they're messing with the algorithms over feelings and false copyrights, then the "A.I." is fake and tainted.

What the fuck, Disney can claim that specific art styles are "theirs"?

How does that even work?
Who the fuck knows. If that collage is what Disney literally protested (I dont know if the twitter guy compiled his own best guesses or if Disney directly asked for the hammer), but half the pcis dont even say Disney/Pixar on them at all. It's just cartoony pics.

Independent animators can easily use these as concept and render them to real trailers to troll Disney regardless. It's okay if we hurt the feelings of Disney. I've also studied their character models. Same model sheets (just different characters) their competitors are using. This is largely due to the fact that the software can't render original designs like what a split like that Don Bluth & his colleagues made from Disney back in the day. Disney had to toss all of his model sheets after the Fox & the Hound as it was clear future animation would be more Bluth than Disney. Nowadays, they're plagiarized Dreamworks animators and character models without much consequence. If A.I. can do it...just wait till we have full animation with AI and it becomes nearly impossible to copyright or cancel. Their model sheets are so cheap now that they even make studios of the past which were Crap-tier like Filmation or their outsource AKOM.

I'll make the trailer for one of these though and we'll see what they can do about it when I create original model sheets by hand =P

There's nothing Disney or anyone can do because the tools are all out there, it just makes it harder for average people to produce said images because of how easily accessible dalle is, they can control that for now. However, after seeing SVD in action I know where this is going, and you can pretty much guess as the writings on the wall, full blast for everyone to see.

In 10 to 15 years, maybe sooner, people will be able to make their own movies with their own characters and stories that will compete with the likes of Disney and other studios, and they can't stop it. SVD is cheesy at the moment, sometimes it produces videos that are just panning or zooming out, but some of the animations it generates are pretty impressive and all it took was 1 picture... I saw like 4 good examples so far of it and its obvious where we are headed. This probably frightens Disney very much, they have the most to lose from this, but its not only Disney.

The article mostly talks about the Disney Logo, but I was always under the impression that the Disney logo and "movie name" on most of these fake posters was added afterwards by people.

Also even if they block terms like "Disney" and "Pixar" I imagine you can get around it with "3D animated movie style" or something like that.

The point still stands:

The whole article is based on Mickey Mouse:
Now that may be a slight overstatement. The copyright duration changed some prior to the creation of Mickey Mouse.

But Mickey Mouse is a trademark, not a copyright, and thus will never be in the public domain so you won't be able to made your edgy Mickey Mouse porno or horror movie.

Just wait until AI can render entire movies, insted of just posters.
It'll be cool. And I see a lot of people dabbling. As long as the tools are easy to use and doesn't take forever for the AI program to make it, just imagine how many people will do it. All at the press of some keywords.

And it doesn't even have to be 2 hour movies. Even just people making 10 minute clips where someone does Terminator vs Aliens vs Zombies. Enter in 10 minutes length and some surrounding keywords and AI generates a movie.

Not everyone will care to try it, but if it catches on mainstream TV will get another chunk out of it. Just like how the net and social media made a lot of cable TV and newspapers sink.

If Dall-E is any indication, commercial services will be restricted as heck so anything resembling existing IPs or people will be off-limits 😞
