It’s really a beautiful game but that’s pretty much it. You progress by lightning up all the bulbs and when you need to paint something it doesn’t matter how it looks as long as you meet all the requirements. There are cute little interactions with your genies and such and some platforming but it’s very basic. Final third takes a twist and you end up in a combat which was mediocre at best. Story is one about bullying in a desolate town and could have impact, I guess, with kids towards which this game is clearly aimed at. SPOILER: Those punks deserved to be left to rot haha.
It deserves to be played for its visuals and art style, first 2/3 of the game can have very calming, therapeutic effect.
