Hey GAF, what do you consider an epic video game director comeback? I'm still really astounded by the turnaround from Skyward Sword to Breath of the Wild. I love Skyward Sword but what I mean is, like the turnaround in reputation from Skyward Sword to BoTW is insane. Same director Hidemaro Fujibayashi and presumably dev team, yet the two projects Skyward and BoTW are vastly different, in scope, in reception, etc. So for me, that's an insane video game director comeback. What say you, GAF? What do you consider an epic video game director comeback?
