FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Police say a man who had been stabbed was found inside a burning Central Fresno home. He was pronounced dead at the hospital and the neighborhood is in shock.

The smoke was spotted by neighbors on Van Ness, just north of Belmont around 3:00 in the afternoon on Wednesday and firefighters just happened to be a few doors down on an unrelated call. Battalion Chief Todd Tuggle said, "While the 911 call was going in, neighbors were flagging down our engine company."

The home was heavily secured with a gate so firefighters had to force their way in. After a quick search, they found a man in the kitchen, unconscious and bleeding from several stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. Lt. Joe Gomez with the Fresno Police Department said, "Unknown if the stab wounds caused the death or the smoke inhalation, it's too early to tell."

Investigators call the death suspicious and they believe the house was intentionally set on fire.

The victim was identified as John Lang, 51.

Holy shit. Creepy stuff. Check out his blog/diary outlining the incidents from past 10 months, including Youtube videos of police and unidentified assailants stalking and harassing.

Open Letter the the USDOJ and the FBI
I am fairly certain that Fresno Law Enforcement is trying to set me up on some type a charge related to child pornography. I've been trying to figure out why they would send Child Molester George Adams Ramirez my way when I was renting the property next to me for Don Green. Also I was at a loss as to how Fresno LE was able to turn so many people against me so quickly. The only thing that makes sense coupled with George Ramirez situation is if Fresno LE told these folks I was a child porn suspect. Imagine a police officer dressed in his official uniform pulling up in a police cruiser. Imagine the same police officer or detective telling a group of coworkers of the accused or other folks that said person is a bad guy who is under investigation for the crimes of child pornography, and cops would like their help in putting a really bad guy away. This would be a no brainier for most reasonable people. There is no more heinous, hideous, and inhuman crime than that of a child porn person. This crime evokes more human emotion than any other. And it is to that effect that Fresno Law Enforcement uses to suit their purpose in my situation. It's Fresno Law Enforcement's “weapon of mass destruction”. This would also explain why the FBI shows little interest in my pleas for help. There has long been a believe in Law Enforcement circles that if someone is guilty of something, then helping that process along by fabricating evidence is completely acceptable. This rational can provide a loophole for truth and justice to be ignored when an innocent person is charged or suspected of crimes, as it is with my situation. Let this example serve as a warning to all my activist and blogger friends. We are by no means free. If and when the Government targets us, we are completely and utterly done, and there is really nothing we can do about it. Through my example the Government is trying to drive home the point that they want obidient, submisive, and loyal subjects. And they will settle for nothing less..

I'm also fairly certain I've figured out how Fresno Law Enforcement handled the actual access and internet distribution of the offensive material. Let's just say that the FEDS should re-investigate all Child porn cases in Fresno where ATT Internet Services provided the Internet service. Especially cases where the accused had a conflict with the City Of Fresno or high ranking City of Fresno personnel. Other elements are simply handled by planting various elements of false evidence here and there once they enter a residence. That is why Fresno LE was so determined to get a search warrant for an official home entry in my case. As I've mentioned in the past Fresno LE had already illegally and secretly entered by home, copied my hard drives in order to get a good game plan for the eventual false arrest. There also appears to be a pattern here. Anyone who has ever talked publicly about, accused, or discussed Jerry Dyer's suposed sex scandle with that 16 year old girl has found themselfs in some type of legal peril within a few short years..

And with this letter I have for certain signed my death warrant with Fresno LE.

Kind Regards,

John Lang

Sheesh. I live in Fresno. What kind of stab wounds were they? Was it possible they were self-inflicted? The house was heavily secured.

I am kinda confused to be honest. Is that just a man that thought that he will be killed and got killed now? Or was he just crazy and did kill himself to frame the police? What.

It does not appear to be the work of a schizophrenic. Just looking at the video footage and there is definite proof that the police department was monitoring him pretty extensively.

Why would the police be out to get him again? Saw the thumbnails of the videos, don't really see any reason..

Edit - hmm @ post above this

I'm confused. No where in the CBS story does it mention the victims name nor his Facebook posts. So didn't op already do the "detective gaf" work by posting them?

No one knows for sure. He could be paranoid and delusional but some of his posts and videos are quite detailed. He recently started posting a lot that he is going to be killed. Maybe he stabbed himself and set his house of fire (some reports are that the stab wounds were in his back), or maybe he was right.

Here's what he states:

I am being targeted by multiple City of Fresno departments and the Fresno Sheriff's Office for comments I made on the Fresno Bee from 2009 to 2013. Comments that were critical of the way Fresno PD and Fresno Fire utilized their budgets. My Disqus handle during that time was "John21". Posters on the Fresno Bee, using the then Disqus comment system were suppose to be anonymous. However, Fresno Bee employee Jody Murray shared Fresno Bee log data and ip address information with Jared L McCormick, a Fresno Sheriff Sergeant, who then used the Fresno Bee provided information to retrieve name and address information in order to maliciously track-down, stalk, and harass Fresno Bee comment posters, including myself. McCormick's Disqus handle on the Bee was "Hikerdude1967". I notified Jim Boren, the then Fresno Bee Editor via email on two occasions in 2013 regarding an employee at the Bee who was sharing website ip and log data of Fresno Bee commenters with Fresno PD and Fresno Sheriff personnel. I explained in these emails that as a result of Jody Murray's nefarious efforts Fresno Bee commenters were subsequently stalked and harassed by Fresno Law Enforcement. I never received a reply from from Mr. Boren on either occasion. However, consequently, I have been made a constant target of harassment, intimidation, and worse by multiple City of Fresno Departments and the Fresno Sheriff's office.

If you were convinced people were coming to your apartment to kill you that night why would you stay there?

I quoted the original article as presented by the news about his death, when the death occurred. Then there were a few other news media articles a few days later that presented his name.

http://www.fresnobee.com/news/local/crime/article56494078.html

A man who died in a central Fresno fire that police described as suspicious was identified as John Lang, 51.

The man had multiple stab wounds to his abdomen and upper back, authorities said.

The house fire occurred Wednesday at 648 North Van Ness Avenue, just north of Belmont Avenue. Fresno police reported the man’s body was found around 3:15 p.m. by Fresno firefighters inside the house.

He was not responsive when firefighters found him. He was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

It is unclear whether he died as a result of the stab wounds or the blaze, which damaged much of the home. Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire.

No one else was found inside, and neighbors have not come forward with any information.

Then came the article that I provided in the OP that states the connection:

http://fresnopeoplesmedia.com/2016/01/2829/

By avoiding Detective GAF, I meant finding motives or suspects or making calls or looking up addresses of individuals that may have nothing to do with it, other than what the media has already presented. Sites like Reddit is already doing this, and I don't want anyone here being involved in it. Observe and be curious.

The question is why would the PD waste so much resources to go after just one guy? Yes, he made a complaint but I don't think he was a journalist or a felon.

There's definitely more going on here.

From what I gathered from reading the articles and his blog post, he knew of police officers framing folks for Child Pornography, and stalking parking lots and searching license plates to book people. He complained about it in forums and other media, and also contacted FBI.

Hmmm strange I haven't heard of this considering I'm close to Fresno. Has anyone heard the results of the autopsy? It's been a week now.

Overall it seems pretty hard to believe. The Guy Fawkes mask profile pic doesn't help either. The fact that he thought the police, his neighbor, and coworker were conspiring against him is also suspect. The timing is suspect though, but there are some issues with that as well, why stay in your home if you think you are in danger, and why would the police kill him after he said he thought he'd be killed by them soon? Also if this guy has been at odds with the local government for years why is he now killed? Too much doesn't add up.

I read that part but I admittedly skimmed through his diary. I was under the impression that he was being investigated (falsely) for Child Porn and not that the PD were framing people.

I wonder if the Making a Murderer documentary will mean that this story will be taken more seriously that it might otherwise have been

So he complains about budget priorities of public services online, and that is supposed to result in the cops, his neighbour and his employer icing him?

This is the same country where three men got killed by a gang of twenty people for complaining about violations of their voting rights.

Will drop pants for Sony.
this vid is easily the creepiest, most suspect

That video plus the other one with the offices just hanging out across the street makes me suspect the police were after him. The video above is very scary. It's easy to downplay this man's story as crazy but when you see a van parked outside your house pointing a very sophisticated camera at it then there is something more to this story.

Just saw the other video of the police truck stopping in front of his house then moving after the camera takes a shot of it.

Maybe it's a good idea if people put cameras on their property. I bet if there wasn't a video of a van point a camera at his house we all would not believe his story.

Yeah, OK, he's starting to look a lot less delusional after looking at a bunch of these links.

Still, bizarre.

Just read his blog. On the face of it it comes across as delusional paranoid ramblings, but then you watch the security cam footage and it supports a lot of what he says.

Interesting. Scary.

I'm not a conspiracy nut, but this just so happens on the same day as a shooting and man hunt with a large lockdown area. I wonder if this was in the same area conveniently for the perfect alibi. Fresno cops used gangs in the early 90s to do their dirty work and "clean" the streets, my father was shot by a police issued weapon so they could use the story to go after rival gangs that weren't in on things back then. So hearing about the lengths this police department will go doesn't suprise me one bit. I heard stories from my grandfather who worked in information systems about a lot of shady things the city was into, I hope someone looks into this.

Cops in this country are dirty as the criminals they put away, I wouldn't be surprised if the Fresno PD was setting him up and then paid someone to kill him when he got too close.

Any information and more to this story? Sounds crazy.
