HDTVTest Review First-Ever OLED Gaming Monitor with BFI (240Hz/ 120Hz)

This is why nVidia's newly announced tech that allows BFI at the same time as GSync is important.

That's cool for people who care I guess. But anytime I turn on BFI on other Oled displays it dims the screen way too much and turns off VRR.

Just not worth it.

I think having VRR and BFI together is tricky because they are both based on variable change either within the frame or with subsequent frames, at least the more effective implements of BFI are like this. A jump in processing power for the part of the display that processes the input before output is probably needed to have all these things going at once, thought its more likely that what nvidia is doing with Pulsar will change things sooner than display-side upgrades will.

Does the lg CX/C1 not count anymore?

I'd imagine people are talking about >120hz refresh rate displays
