Fort those talking about adding multiple digits to the end of the Gamertag, I think things have changed recently.

You can choose any Gamertag you like nowadays, and every Gamertag newly created gets an automatic string of random digits applied afterwards.

At least I think this is correct.

On the topic of what you should choose, I can't help because I choose boring as hell usernames. Good luck!

It must be near impossible to secure a good gamer tag these days.
Back in the 360/PS3 era, I was lucky enough to grab the same tag on both PSN and Xbox Live without having to resort to numbers or alternative spellings.
