Junkrat is a direct copy past from OW, looks more than specialist than an assassin.

Wait, so Abathur skin is not counted for the hallowen boundle? then why its even seasonal

Holy shit... 5 hours and no one posts these new gems?

You can ping levels to show advantage/disadvantage/same talent tier

You can ping dead portraits to show when they're coming back

You can ping portraits to indicate missing

I didn't think Blizzard acknowledged Mewn aside from (indirectly) TGN, but they sent the Junkrat animator on his stream.

How interesting can you make Raynor without completely redesigning his baseline abilities? Cos yet another talent pass isn't going to do it.

I feel like there's a lot they could do with the main hero of the starcraft franchise.

Bake in some quests.

Give him talents that create a higher skill ceiling when you select them.

The character is being wasted

The problem with Raynor is his abilities largely just relegate him to being just a right-click hero. Of the three baseline abilities in his kit he's got two active ones and only one is a direct combat ability. That's the problem with Raynor. No talent re-design is going to make him more fun to play so long as he has Inspire and Adrenaline Rush. Adrenaline Rush should be his trait and he should be redesigned with more active combat abilities to go along with Penetrating Round.

When Mewn was at blizzcon a couple years ago, he interviewed Lana while playing at the game stations. They seem to have a decent level of rapport so I'm not surprised she went on his stream.

It was Lana right? I didn't watch mewn today

A good example of what I think would be cool for raynor is something like tyrande's level 4. Where she can chose the cleanse, spell armor or lower cooldown. Like imagine if theres one whole talent tier where raynor gets to choose between different functions of adrenaline rush... that kind of stuff

Ya same lady that did the Stukov interview with him. I think its a personal relationship thing, not so much Blizz is sending her there to talk or anything. I'm sure she had to get the OK from the higher ups, but still I don't take this as some kind of sign there is a positive working relationship between Mewn and Blizz. I'm quite certain its the opposite.

I don't see how you can want to associate your game with someone who so regularly trashes it in bits of rage.

I still say you could give Raynor some talents to add more active abilities, creating a 'piano' Raynor build, and give him more complexity for higher skill players, while still retaining his simplicity for new players.

Imo it is a design trap to feel forced to relegate raynor as a hero for new players and they should just make him a good hero. Make him good at something, bad at something, like just make him not the worst hero in the game

I was thinking about Junkrat's trap and how it's an actual thing that went into the game.

The trap can't be destroyed (I think it can only during the setup or something like that, I've seen towers destroying it so I'm not sure if it's during the setup or always by structures), so let's say Junkrat takes the talent that makes the trap move towards enemies, and he drops it near an objective. Now, what's the counter-play there? How do you do the obj without triggering it?

Oh, I see.

I just drafted Chromie in a Tomb of the Spider Queen game, and I enjoyed myself. I feel so dirty.

Now that she isn't all about the one shot, and you have the stacking mini-game (and no stupid range talent) she seems a lot fairer now. Just wish I'd taken the new level one talent, as I was stacking numbers ridiculously...

Don’t kid yourself, she’s still all about the one shot. She can’t help it, her abilities do too much damage.

They do a lot less than before though, and she no longer has the stupid range to do them off screen. She feels fairer in that respect.

I think the current run of overwatch heroes are much more cancerous than she is for the game. Blizzard are, IMO, making a *huge* mistake with the fact every overwatch hero has some stupid mobility mechanic. It's just not good or healthy for the game for a backline AE damage dealing mage to have an escape tool in his kit similar to genjis dash.

Wait i havent been gone that long, there's a mage with good mobility now?

I think mage with mobility is fine w/ the caveat that it's costly (lowish cd ult, high cd reg spell, etc.)

Why is the fact that Junkrats auto attacks are full damage AE effects, with an okay distance, not mentioned anywhere in his character description? If you auto attack the wizard in a minion wave, you'll hit all but one of the wave. That's fairly impressive and a bit important...

Ana is like the least mobile hero in the game >_>

I always forget Ana! You're right, her and Zarya are fine. But Tracer / Lucio / DVa / Genji and now Junkrat are too much. Tracer was brilliant as a unique, game breaking hero - but now it's gotten old, and it really messes around with the play experience and "fun".

Personally im fine with lots of mobility, it makes the game more fun for me, but they should look into good counters against mobility and good solutions to help ppl who are weak to mobility, since it's a thing that makes the game unfun for a lot of ppl.

Like im ok with how badly tracer beats kt for example, if a kt is out of position he deserves to be punished. But itd be cool if it werent a situation where you just have to accept your death, whether it's something in his own kit, a universal expensive mobility spell like league has, or heroes that have the ability to help kt out like medivh.

I'd take everything for fnatic not to win

I noticed a pattern that I'd alway's root against the top dog unless it's a team I really liked. Hated tempo until they started to suck. Hated GFE for the short time they were on top. Switched between liking and hating cloud 9. Hate Fnatic, well I never really liked them.

Congratulations on learning why being the "frontrunner" is often really bad in politics. :p (you are not alone)

Eh I'm not conflating sports and politics both a competition but there's more at stakes than my feelings in politics.

Living in a country that's about to elect a xenophobic conservative populist prick who's likely to make a coalition with a legit nazi might have something to do with that.

Understanding that people are dumb and irrational is part of understanding politics though.

It's why you don't want to be the D1 frontrunner on the Dem side, and why so many get upset if the "underdog" doesn't win- the combo of those and the anti-authoritarian impulses at work is real.

(This is different than sports/competition, where fuck yeah you wanna be the Jordan.)
