I legit laughed when someone pointed it out.

They usually just mute it so you can still sing the original. I did thatI want the option to use the explicit versions of songs personally. If I'm buying songs for $2-$3 I want there to be a choice for the original cut of a song. I want my S's, F's and A's gosh darn it!

Has in game been shown off? I really like the other games graphical styles so I can only imagine this will also be great.
Problem is all my RockBand DLC (so much) is tied to my XBL account, and I have a PS4...
ughBruce Springsteen is 65 years old. Two key members of his E Street Band have passed away in the last seven years. In fact, for a decade-long period that covered most of the 1990s, Springsteen and his band broke up, and The Boss spent most of the Clinton years not doing much of anything, musically.
The point is, Springsteen was gone. Not forgotten, but gone. And then one day, he came back (2002s The Rising album), and everything was both familiar and comfortable again, but also brand-new.
Kind of like Rock Band.
Not only will the vocal harmonies added in The Beatles: Rock Band return, but a dedicated group of the Rock Band fan community have gone back and authored harmonies for every previous song and handed it over to Harmonix. For free.
Not sure I like this new drum fill system... lets see how it plays.
So are you guys working with Harmonix for RBHP????Well, I guess that secret's out.
Well, I guess that secret's out.
Oh man, that's awesome, does this mean RBHP is ending, or will it continue for 3 too?Well, I guess that secret's out.
They'll probably let you disable it like you could in RB3.

As of this exact moment, I expect no changes for current RBHP. We're close to the "end", anyway.
Rock Band 4 will also give expert game singers a new way to test their skills and express their vocal creativity: freeform melodies. For hard and expert players, there was this premium on just hitting that exact pitch that was authored into the songs, LoPiccolo said. And what we discovered was that a lot of really good singers were constrained by that; they couldnt have the kind of fun the expressive fun that they wanted to have as singers. So, weve added a feature now where as long as youre singing in tune, you can kind of color outside the lines. You dont have to stick with the prescribed part; you can make up your own harmonies on the fly, and as long as you sing them in tune, the game will give you credit for it. Its a little bit hard to describe, but to actually do it, its incredibly liberating and fun. Its a whole new way for singers to be creative with Rock Band.
Speaking of Rock Band, am I the only one that wants a new Rock Band Blitz? I love that game.
Well, I guess that secret's out.
Very cool. Congrats.
I'm sad that my 360 -> PS4 switch means that I'm not going to be able to transfer my ~$300 worth of DLC (I was obsessed), but still pumped for this.
Also in the video with Ryan and Mitch, Ryan confirms that RB 4 will have a song from a band they've never had. Let the speculation begin.
Eh, just because it's a band they've never had doesn't mean it will have a huge amount of clout.
Then again, I can see Van Halen or one of the other various exclusive artists Guitar Hero had. Those contracts are probably long expired.

I'm hyped, but still have my concerns regarding the songs. I have a gut feeling they're going to move away from anything heavy metal and go with the more mainstream rock of today, Fall Out Boy for example.
Hopefully there will be a good mix of songs in there, but even if not I suppose as long as I'm able to export all the tracks from the previous games and the DLC I bought there will still be plenty to re-rock out to.

At the same time, if this wasn't something huge, I can't see them hyping it, I'm sure Rock Band 4 will have plenty of artists that haven't been in the series before on disc. A lot of new acts have came in the last few years
He said it was a huge band he never expected. Van Halen is a good guess. Could it please be Led Zeppelin? Or Pink Floyd? I can always dream.

So pumped for this!! Unfortunately as a PS4 owner I have to buy an Xbox One because I have over 800 songs on X360. Oh well, more than worth the investment!
Cool info on the harmonies and tweaks to the drum fill and vocal gameplay. I am most excited about the Singleplayer being referred to as a "Rockband RPG". I loved the World Tour mode in RB2 and would love for them to return to something like that.
Well, I guess that secret's out.
