For both Dark Souls and Elden ring, all sales data we have available indicates PC is the single largest platform with around ~40% of game sales. So to answer your question, literally tens of millions of people.

I finished this recently and it was a pretty good game. It's the second best souls-like after Lies of P for me but Black Myth Wukong might push it down to 3rd place in a couple of months.
The next game needs to improve the boss battles significantly because they were average at best overall. There wasn't really any memorable boss (maybe the one going into the main hub for the first time?) and they need to make the Umbral realm more fun. More enemy variety would also be good.

People are idiots, when playing a souls game on pc. PC is meant for fpses and sim city, rest, just play it on console. Also, if you play an fps on console, you are also a peasant.

Yea I am and already planning for a follow up, theres a whole thread of people loving it and my mum is very proud aswell. Im currently in talks with B&Q and Homebase to get it made into real wallpaper then we can go stick that shit up all over the manor.

Polish publisher and developer CI Games has announced Lords of the Fallen 2 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The sequel to 2023's Lords of the Fallen was confirmed as part of a release via Polish financial media outlet Bankier. According to the release, the sequel (for now dubbed Lords of the Fallen 2) will be fully exclusive on PC via the Epic Games Store "throughout" the game's lifecycle. As such, Lords of the Fallen won't be a timed EGS-exclusive on PC.
As for the release on consoles, the release reads:

Some of us don’t want to a)Buy anything from Timmy Tencent Epic and b) Don’t want to install EGS launcher.
There are many reasons for that. If you wish to buy on EGS, nothing wrong with that and more power to you.
However for millions of others this will be a non starter.

Alright since I have to spoon feed you, here are just few examples of why me and many other won't install EGS:
- Pro developer & anti consumer (said by Sweeny himself)
- Bringing game exclusivity tactics to PC gaming
- People discovered the Epic launcher rummaged through users' steam files without asking users for permission first
- Having very bad customer support
- Having very bad account security (it's a bit better tho)
- Epic lying about their return policy
- The EGS being a buggy, resource hungry mess
- Sweeney talking about Steam having a monopoly when it's actually Epic's methods and tactics that are restricting customer choice
- Buying the Easy Anti-Cheat company were they were teaming up with Valve to make EAC compatible with Linux and Mac Os (now it's dead)
- Many problems for Mac Os and Linux owners
- Bullying game companies that don't wanna do EGS exclusive deal (look at Darq for more info)
- Claiming his "lower cut" would bring game prices down, were is it??
- They lock third party stores from selling games unless they are approved
- They killed UT for Fortnite
- Shitty launcher with a lot of features missing compared to Steam
- Buying out publishers and pulling their games off the Steam store forcing even Steam users to link and create Epic accounts
- Connections to TenCent and China especially in regards to selling of userdata
- Buying exclusive rights to new releases even to the point of at the time of its initial release on PC it bought already up for preorder games on Steam like Metro Exodus or Anno 1800
Can't believe I have to explain this, it's not a full list and it's missing some other key points but I hope this gives you an idea of why EGS is shit.

And they have exclusive games.

Not really? They buy them instead of developing a proper game (like... Unreal??) and attract people with their own product. They pivoted all of their team on Fortnite which is really sad. Epic was good once...
I don't think I have seen someone with as much bad faith as you in there. And the level was quite high. You just took a few points but did not really address everything else (how convenient).
So yes I'm waiting for the Steam release. Or GOG. Or whatever else but not EGS.

Great.. time to improve and get better.. Im in my third run ng+2 and the game is great.. classic dark souls with some twists.. having much more fun with this than I had with Elden boRing. Thw game has flaws but they can easily solve most of them in the sequel.. and they are great at listening to feedback.

I think it's commendable that you're sticking to your guns with this. Every company and even actors will have people that will boycott their products. For example, I saw a girl who made it her personal mission to spread awareness for something Mark Wahlberg did in the past to an Asian man. Or people boycotting the new Bad Boys because Will Smith slapped Chris Rock. You're doing your part to spread awareness for something that triggers you. Thumbs up. I personally don't care. I bought Alan Wake 2 and will most likely buy this game on EGS.

Yeah I totally agree, and I'm not trying to police anyone to boycott EGS. But at the same time I can't stand people acting like J Jetpac who pretend it's "just two clicks" and somehow don't want to address any point I made.
I also brought AWII on EGS because it's probably the single good thing they have done in my opinion so I wanted to show support. At least they helped funding the game as opposed to money hat exclusives.
Just with one reply I can already see you are far more interesting than J Jetpac , so thanks for that
