Are we expecting this new "All Stars" game to sell more than Jo-Jo(?), the game that sold around 500k?
Miku might not be enough to stop the three Waifu Plus+ LL bundles (which are released on the same day) from helping 3DS stay on top.

Very good start for Dark Souls 2.
I dont think that this necessarily means that much. For comparison, after 147 weeks (close to 3 years), the PS3 was actually behind the Gamecube launch alliged (the PS3 had been ahead of the Gamecube a few times within this period, but still). The Vita was also tracking behind the Dreamcast launch alliged.

Iwata is not to be trusted until that 2 billion in inventory is dealt with. Even if they gave up (internally) on the Wii U 3 months ago, they have to pretend they're fully backing it until they've disposed of that unprecedented inventory.

That's quite a contrast between DSII on 360 and PS3. Expected, although didn't expect it to be this low on 360.
I honestly don't know how to respond to this. People are seeing conspiracies everywhere.
Its a major disappointment because it didn't do the one thing it set out to do. To help Japan transition to the next generation. Devs are all stuck on PS3/Vita/3DS right now.

Dating sim market is keeping it alive at this point, there are still new PSP games coming out every other week.
It kinda obvious with how the games that were announced at the famous January direct are spread out and there's almost nothing else.

If it sells at this rate for a little over three and a half thousand years, it can be done.
That was Sony choice, they shouldn't get the benefit of the doubt after skipping 2014 New Year's.

3DS is basically done with system-sellers, Mario Party and Love Plus won't move hardware.
Nintendo is clearly abandoning Wii U, it is getting more obvious day by day.
You´re probably right. Might make more sense, if and when the XB1 launches to make that comparison.
I doubt. If I'm correct, NDS sold 30m+ in Japan. I don't think PSP will sell another 10m in its lifetime in Japan.

Hmm, we might need to wait for Tales of Sword Art in that case, though I thought the 3DS had something near the end of April.
Though there would also be a comical effect of being "so close, yet so far" for a month and then slipping away.
....So you're saying there's a chance.
Except they have clearly said that they are showing new Wii U titles at E3. Hardly abandoning.

I honestly don't understand this trend. I guess there must've been a resurgence in interest for the GTA series. I'm almost willing to bet it'll eventually crawl up to 1 million+ LTD within the japanese region.

I think the new Smash or a mainline Dragon Quest (new not remake) would move hardware.

They basically said that they want to extract more profit possible from the console, even if it's never going to be a big seller (...or a decent one) + doubling down on the Gamepad. They just said we'll see the NFC game there...it's quite clear how, right now, the amount of big titles being developed, outside of what already known, is very, very low (significant i.e. Not digital only titles)...Nintendo itself is quitely abandoning the console.
Do I need to make one of my lists to prove these statements erroneous? They provided new games last E3. They provided new games the E3 prior. Ergo, they delivered their promise of new Wii U games at E3.
