PAL Charts - Week 37, 2014

Just shy of 92k for the week and 509k total.

Marginally better than Watch Dogs. WD enjoyed a very leggy summer with little to no competition but Destiny will have to face a major release every week starting with FIFA15. The total for Destiny will probably end up at about the same number as WD.

What would be the total for Hyrule Warrior's debut?

Over 10k?

It's 4th in charts for individual formats and below Destiny on the 360. If you say that fell 78% from it's week 1 it'd be around 12k for week 2, so Hyrule Warriors is likely between 10-12k (could be higher if the 360 version fell less than 78%)

Hyrule did a bit better than I'd have expected. Still 3 WiiU games in the top 40 means it's a huge week for Ninendos platform, the likes of which hasn't been seen in ages :p

The individual chart is up.

Not a total bomba for Hyrule Warriors.
That is the first time I've seen a PS3 version of something chart above its PS4 version in a while (Disney Infinity 2.0, makes sense as a lot of the audience has not moved on).

As for Hyrule Warriors, wilst thou sink or swim next week*? I'm worried it is going to be the usual Wii U 10k week 1 and sink that well most things since Pikmin 3 did.

Personally with Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call I wonder if people who said "I'll get the eShop version as it is a good game to play without cart swapping" put their money where their mouth is.

*-Wait, Fifa? Yeah everything sinks. At least outsell the legacy editions, Zelda...

There's an interesting tidbit in the article.

The Last of Us took the No.1 spot comfortably, selling 35 times more units than its second place rival.

August was The Last of Us: Remastered's launch month, so, TLOU: R up to August 23rd

[Week 04] 02 (01) THE LAST OF US: REMASTERED (SONY COMPUTER ENT.) - 14,158 / 132,838 (-24%)

Thus

DIABLO III REAPER OF SOULS ULTIMATE EVIL (ACTIVISION BLIZZARD) - 3,795

...Which probably means that the writer accidentally forgot to put a "." between "3" and "5". 3.5 times makes much more sense

DIABLO III REAPER OF SOULS ULTIMATE EVIL (ACTIVISION BLIZZARD) - 37,954

DIABLO III PS4 (47%) - 17,838
DIABLO III ONE (32%) - 12,145
DIABLO III 360 - (13%) - 4,934
DIABLO III PS3 (8%) - 3,036

Good showing for Hyrule Warriors, although I'm sure it'll drop dramatically next week.

Nice showing for Disney Infinity on Wii U too. Three Wii U games in the charts, madness!

Yes I just read that article and thought there is NO way TLOU:R sold 35 times more than D3:RoS. Just no way. 3.5 sounds more reasonable but still a good showing for The Last of Us.
