Really need to finally upgrade my monitor. Got a 4090, but still gaming primarily on a 1440p Predator monitor.
The way the recommended specs go from a 3070 for 1080p to 4070 (instead of a 3080) for 4k makes me think that that resolution might actually require it.Any word on if this will have DLSS frame generation?
2K high refresh rate is the sweet spotReally need to finally upgrade my monitor. Got a 4090, but still gaming primarily on a 1440p Predator monitor.
guy got a 4090 and you are recommending him a 1440p montior?2K high refresh rate is the sweet spot
Unfortunately, the steepest requirement of all is Epic Games Store.
Dude I am hitting close to 120fps 4k on a 3080 in most games with DLSS.I got a 3440x1440p oled and it it’s a pure beauty get fuck with that 120hz that you cannot even hit at 4K your are really a casual gamer…
What resolution do you think your playing with DLSS ?Dude I am hitting close to 120fps 4k on a 3080 in most games with DLSS.
Let alone 4090....
1440p looks like shit compared to 4k.
You realize 4k with balnce dlss (that's 1440p internal) looks way better than native 1440p?What resolution do you think your playing with DLSS ?
minor correction:You realize 4k with balnce dlss (that's 1440p internal) looks way better than native 1440p?
In fact it looks better than 4k native with dlss quality. And you get 4k UI elements.
There is absolutely 0 drawbacks to owning 4k tv/monitor. You can play any resolution you want on it.

My mistake.minor correction:
4k dlss balanced is 1296p internal. 4d dlss quality is 1440p internal. 4k dlss performance is 1080p internal.
no you are not. I honestly think 4k with DLSS quality (and sometimes balanced) looks better than native 4k in some games.Umm, am I misunderstanding something?
My mistake.

Well, they've already said there is a 60fps mode. We'll see I guess. Not a game for consoles lol.
My guess is that its under 1080p upscaled and or/unstable. Definitely would go for quality on consoleWell, they've already said there is a 60fps mode. We'll see I guess.
Yes, cause it only goes up to a 4080 and performance DLSSYou just invented a setting
For better read. So for 1080p 60fps on medium you need a 3070 lol.
Fuck no. Get rid of that piece of shit excuse for a GPU.PC masters can tell me if I'll can play it reasonably well (1080p/medium or low at 30fps) with a GTX 1080?
We are about to see duality.
This game will be praised for it's high requirements.
Immortals was bashed for it's high requirements! interesting.
It looks amazing I think. We'll have to see how the game looks and runs. If it looks like shit, It'll get the criticism it deserves.
Taking from this comment its EGS exclusive? Fuck that ill wait for the Steam version.Unfortunately, the steepest requirement of all is Epic Games Store.
Immortals ran like crap though. We are about to see duality.

You'll be waiting until old age most likely. It's being published by Epic themselves.Taking from this comment its EGS exclusive? Fuck that ill wait for the Steam version.
Already at old age my friend, so that's me fucked. You'll be waiting until old age most likely. It's being published by Epic themselves.

Already at old age my friend, so that's me fucked.
Edit: Pubs like money it will turn up at some point before death. Hopefully.
Seems we gonna back to glorius 640x480
Yeah its just a bummer I have a few games on that storefront and they just never get booted up.I get where you're coming from, and understand what Steam offers as a platform and it's suite of options for the customer over the Epic Games Store, but this game is a part of the 2-game deal that Remedy signed with Epic Games, back in 2020, to be fully funded (not some timed exclusive agreement/moneyhat) and published by Epic Games on Consoles and PC (on EGS).
The first of which, was Alan Wake Remastered, came out exactly 2 years ago (as of writing this post, on October 21ST, 2021) and still hasn't shown any sign of being released on Steam, as of yet. That should tell you something, about what commitment Epic are showing towards this.
They're not looking for sales on PC. They rely on console for unit sales, and push their storefront on PC, by offsetting those numbers on consoles.
You see babe, this is why I spent $1600 on a GPU. Moments like this. You expect me to play the next Sam Lake banger at sub 720p on a console? Not happening.
This is not coming to steam? I'm going to be one of those people and have to say I will pass just because of that.Unfortunately, the steepest requirement of all is Epic Games Store.
