Fans anticipating news about The Last of Us season two will be dismayed to know that the Vancouver production of the continuation of the hit HBO show is likely going to see a delay.

The TV series based on the video game of the same name lit the charts on fire, seeing staggering numbers of viewers tuning in to see Ellie and Joel’s every move.

Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, writers of the acclaimed show, told Entertainment Weekly that the second season is all mapped out and will begin shooting as soon as the ongoing Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike is over.

We’ve outlined all of season 2 and we’re ready to go as soon as the strike ends

Replayed the second game last week. Was blown the fuck away a second time, all the intricate detailing that lines up the crossed scenarios and just how good the game is. They've got A LOT of work to do to match this... Not that the first season even matched the average first game.

Seeing the quality of writing that's been shit out the last 10 years or so, only a handful (10-20%) tops are worthy of a pay raise. The rest can learn to code film.
And a higher pay rate would mean it'd weed out those mass produced by the numbers scripts, if you're paying more you're going to want the best for your money right? Right now they pay peanuts and get monkeys, maybe in hopes to drive quality down enough that AI can take over.

I like my approach. Pay those that are worthy, tell the rest to pound sand.
