I've just spent half a day building one of those adult lego sets with a couple of friends. I can't really believe how the whole experience easily smashed into the top ten best, most wholesome moments of my life, whatever the hell that says about someone. Just surprised at how much I resonated with the whole thing, since I was never really into legos when I was a kid, in the first place.
On the other hand, I could see how absolutely easy it would be to get addicted to this and eventually ending up onto less pleasant paths, especially considering just how much some of those sets cost.

Why do cafeterias smell so bad in nursing homes? Why do nursing homes smell so bad? It’s not the part of the building because these people get to leave. It’s like some horrible smell of food rotting in a bucket of water.

Yeah, I remember that from when I was a little kid visiting my great grandmother.
Some quick online research says there’s some chemical called nonenal that only old people produce which creates the odor. Pretty sure calling it the smell of death is not too inappropriate.

I once lent a friend a VHS porn tape in high school, and he watched one scene so often that it tore the tape in one particular spot. He spliced it back together with Scotch tape and now the best scene looks pretty bad. That has to be the highest compliment a scene could ever receive.
