2-0 down. Bring back to 2-2. Concede a penalty in the 10th minute of injury time to lose to a team who are 16th and have nothing to play. I'm done with football.

West Hamond Serrano is my favorite when having friends and family over.

This guy on Penny Arcade is trying to act like I am a bad person for buying third party Steam keys. If they would actually offer a decent price on Steam, I would not use them.

I've been on my low-carb diet again for a week now in order to improve my diabetes and it's making me miserable. Think I'd gladly trade my legs for some Doritos.

I am bummed that my windows laptop can’t just connect to my Surface tablet like my Mac and iPad do. It would be so useful to be able to jump back and forth with the same mouse and keyboard setup. 😤

Apparently the town I live in has been kicking the can down the curb on fixing their water infrastructure for more than 20 years and it reached a critical failure point yesterday morning. All four pumps that move water around town have failed. The first one failed, which caused pressure issues on the others, and the last two literally exploded apart.

So we’ve got minimal to no water, mostly whats left in the towers if you’re close enough to them, and we’ve been told not to what little water we do get for anything but flushing toilets because its probably contaminated. Repairs can’t begin until after city council gets together tonight to approve emergency funding.

All the stores around here are getting crushed by people looking for bottled water.

I so love living in small town nowhere… /s

Where is this? And wtf!?

I also live in a small city (barely a city), and all of its administrative structures seem to be in the hands of one family. You see the name everywhere in the local government statements, etc. And I see ridiculous shit too, but never like what you're describing. But then again, who knows. Some of the outages we've had could be due to malfeasance. I know there are various plots of land around town that are cleared, bought and sold, never built upon, but the land is always cleared and maintained by a company with that family name on it. Fuckin' whackiness.

Sometimes I just look out from my eyes at my arms and hands and think .....is this really the best form the universe came up with for humans?

I mean.....surely flying would have been better.

Many “Whelps”! Handle It!
1. In my area most of the convenience stores now have several digital slot machines and the like. There's always people sat using them, all ages, day or even late into the night. It reminds me of a casino but also the pachinko stuff in Japan. A store in a strip mall on a prime stretch of busy street just closed near me. I wonder what all I'd need to do to license those machines and open up some kind of little business catering to these people.

2. My favorite knife was lost in my recent move along with some other items (a few boxes). So I've started using my old Japanese Kubu knife and, you know what? It's actually a bit better than my old knife for cutting most stuff. So blessing in disguise I guess.

I signed up as "Jarnathon" for some promotional stuff. Character from the D&D movie. Already I have scammers texting me. "Jarnathon, we can help with your IRS tax debt". lol

I haven’t been to my favorite mall since the pandemic began, due to not wanting Covid. Im on vacation this week and was going to finally go, but then there was a mass shooting in my area over the weekend. I may never go back sigh.

Feeling pretty down because a neighborhood cat has taken to living in my carport and clearly wants to come in and live the housecat life but, as much as I want to let him in, I can’t afford to take him to the vet for everything he’d need done. He’d need to be neutered, get all his shots, and dewormed most likely. No low cost programs exist out here and animal control is a one way trip to euthanasia. 😿

Well, you could always just put some food and water out each day if it makes you feel better. The carport should protect it from the elements well enough.

That's what I'm doing for now. I also gave him a dose of the same topical flea and tick treatment I give my indoor cat (Revolution Plus). At least that should keep him somewhat safe. I have a couple large rubbermaid totes that I'm not using and I may make one of those DIY outdoor cat shelters from them.

Haha I had a feeling this might come up. What I'm referring to is 'hot chips'. That's what Aussies/NZers call thicc fries I guess.

Crinkled chips:

Love fish and chips. I only get it as pubs. I got ripped off a few weeks ago. I bought a platter and the two pieces of fish were so small, it was the same size as one fish in your pic.

And since it was a pub, the plate cost I think $24 CDN. What a rip off.

NO PAIN TRANCE CONTINUE
Physical therapy sucks

Sorry if I missed something, but for what are you having this therapy?

Chronic pain that seemingy stems from a small weak pelvis muscle that gave the bigger glute muscles to much work which resulted in (excuse my English) overtension which Emitted to my knees.

Have some exercises now.. hardest part is flexing my lowest ab (pubic area) at minus 50% (doing it while being able te keep breathing, talking is a good indicator) and do that till it's automatic.

I'm blessed with my current physical therapist

My man is a boxer in his spare time. Next fight is tomorrow.

I once broke my hand on a wall so i don't have a right pinky knuckle. Stone wins.
