I see this either going 5 games where both players are evenly matched or in the event that one player prepared a little more than the other, 3-0 or 3-1 in a one-sided affair.

Matches can go to 4 or 5 games purely because one player or the other is throwing games. It happens a lot.

Ultimately, I would say my money is on INnoVation.

I don't think I've ever seen a player so bad at trying to close out a game. Literally just throwing Lings and Banelings away. Granted, INno's micro was phenomenal.

HyuN went full foreigner and beyond.

Regardless, the better player advanced. Bomber vs MMA and TaeJa vs INnoVation in the quarterfinals... all my favorite Terran players. Some sick, SIIIIIIIICCK TvTs next Friday. :O

Today was amazing. I felt like the games were better than the 2013 Global Finals Ro16, but that BlizzCon crowd can make even average to somewhat entertaining games feel like GotY material so the quarterfinals should be beyond amazing.

Yeah but two at least two of them are the best of the mirror matchups.

Also, the way the bracket is now, it ensures no mirrors in the semfinals at least.

TvT is way too predictable. There's no crazy mid or late game comps like you see in PvP. It's always either Bio, Bio/Tank, or Mech. From mid-game on the army comp never changes except for the very rare occasions someone goes Battlecruisers.
