The Day Before is changing it's name to DayWorld

Fntastic and MyTona's post-apocalyptic open-world MMO, The Day Before, has been the subject of much controversy and skepticism for some time, and also had its release delayed for a number of reasons, one of which was due to its name, which is at the center of a trademark dispute.

It appears, however, that the name of the game will be changed. As seen by Well Played, about a month ago, Fntastic filed a new trademark registration for Dayworld with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, with the trademark covering categories such as “downloadable game software; computer game software for downloading from a global computer network; and downloadable computer game software for use on mobile devices,” which could indicate that The Day Before’s name will be changed to Dayworld.

However, anyone who thinks that the dose of controversy ends here is mistaken: this is because, as pointed out by Eurogamer, Dayworld is the name of a trilogy of novels written by Philip José Farmer, that is, the new name chosen by Fntastic could potentially be heading towards another trademark dispute.

I read a book series years ago called 'The Dungeon' That started with Phillip Jose Farmer, He wrote the first book, Then they passed the story to another author with a rule that they could do whatever they wanted in the story except kill off the characters. Then that author passed the story to another, and another. Story got weird at the end.

Too bad Daymare was already taken because it would have been perfect for what the finished product will become.

What the hell is Abandoned?
Exactly

Abandoned is the Silent Hill rip off vaporware a guy named Hasan made. He managed to have it part of a Sony exclusive presentation so it buzzed quite a bit, but in the end it disappeared into the void never to be seen again. Some say that on the darkest nights you can, by squinting real hard at the moon, see hd textures of wooden doors and brickwalls. My nan says it is Hasan working on his game and that one day, when it is finished, he'll come down to earth to abduct all the misbehaving children, and everyone who did not believe in his game

That thread was a rollercoaster lol. Weird that I've never heard of this, just somehow skipped me by.
