The disappearance of the word "Exclusive" from the console vernacular.

We have born witnesses to both Sony and Microsoft's major showcases for the year, and one thing common amongst them was the lack of the label of "Exclusive".
No more "Only on PS5", no more "Xbox Exclusive" in any of their announcements, and none of their post show marketing guff.

I think it has become obvious that both companies don't want to put too much attention on the exclusive content for their systems for fear of provoking regulators to look into possible anti competitive behaviour, as has been already flagged by some of them.

Both are trying to consolidate, Sony to a lesser extent.

So both are trying to look like "exclusives do not matter" so their M&As don't come under fire (as they should come under fire)
