Family got some big nerfs to the individual members outside of leatherface and cook but a lot of the overall system has been turned against victims. Coordinated victim teams on comms can still wreck them, since the things good teams were abusing outside of door slams haven't really been addressed, but solo queue is a slaughter now since nobody communicates. Another problem is family has started using focus more now which let's them keep tabs on important spots without actually having to go check them physically which means it's super tough to get them out of position now.Lately killers seem to know exactly where you are and i've seen a few victims turn invisible and open locks instantly. Also, the last few patches have somehow nerfed vitims even though there were already at a huge disadvantge. It's not rare to go 20 matches and only escape once if you are up against skilled killers. Definitly some balance issues and hacking at play which is making the game much less fun then it was at launch.

We have fixed an exploit where players could crouch into the blue car near the tool shed on the Gas Station map

We have fixed an issue causing textures on skins to not load properly on some platforms

1- 60 sec cooldown on abilities at the beginning of matches.
2- The patch + new characters + map are coming on November 28th
3- When victims spam toolbox/bone charms, noise will now follow them for a little while.
4- Slow pace crouching will make it impossible for Johnny to track victims.
5- Once victims cross gates, they immediately escape. No tbagging opportunities and no stalling matches.
6- Fuses location change on Gas Station.
7- Cook won’t be able to spam much as his ability timer was somewhat worked on.
8- Family XP was a bit high due to a bug where all family members got the “all victims killed” bonus even when it’s not the case. So they fixed that, which will result in a slightly lower XP.
9- A lot of perks were reworked, removed or altered but the changes won’t be applied in the upcoming patch. There’ll be special ‘perks patch.’
10- They understood what we meant by having different loadouts for different skill trees, and Matt said that committing to a set of perks from a single skill tree is the point.
11- Game stays the same without Leatherface. (No changes to barricades, no other family member will spawn in basement and no alternatives to getting rid of obstacles.)
12- Shirtless Johnny and other family members’ cosmetics are coming, but they can’t give us a date.
13- New Characters come with their own skill trees, abilities and perks. No dates though.
14- No changes are permanent, they’ll readjust them depending on game balance.
15- New map’s called ‘Nancy’s house.’
It's mostly just to nerf connie, and I guess leland trolling; with high stealth and proficiency, and good spawns you can definitely still get out of the basement within a minute, but at least it's not guaranteed like it is with connie.no way i would want to sit there with a slow ass nerfed timer for the first 60 seconds, that's a horrible dev decision because it's a band aid fix that completely alters the flow and balance. wow
I belive it goes live on the 28th. Leatherface not being required is going to be a mess since the crawl spaces and obstacles won't be removed.I haven’t played in a bit, is the “LF not required” thing live? I wonder how it affects games?

Victim

Changes
- After winning a close encounter as a Victim, if another Family member intervenes it will now do chip damage intead of an instant kill. But if health is low, it will still be an instant kill.
- Leatherface will be able to cut doors down even if a Victim is barging.
- Instant start animation for Leatherface is being trimmed back to be closer to instant.
- 2 seconds shaved off of destroying barricades for Leatherface
- Blood trails will be bigger, but not as big as they were on console before the fix.
- Poison Claws on Nancy is stacking in a way it shouldn't. I will now last for 2, 5, and 8 seconds.
- Confusing mechanic will now work on fuse and valve along with generator and battery.
- Easily tuckered Out will now be 10, 25, 40%.
- Choose Flight will scrap charges for one single charge.
Level 1 = 1 stam replinishment will replenish 50% of stamina
Level 2 = 1 stam replinisment will replenish of 75% of stamina
Level 3 = 1 stam replinishment will replenish 100% of stamina
- Bomb Squad will now have charges.
Level 1 will allow 1 trap to be disabled
Level 2 will allow 2 traps to be disabled
Level 3 will allow 3 traps to be disabled
Danny
- Instant Study for Danny will disable the ability to tamper. You won't be able to tamper something that you instant Study.
- Danny no longer has to inspect an exit object before he can tamper it. He will be given a choice prompt to tamper or interact.
- Knowledge gain values have been changed. From highest to lowest = lamps, tool boxes,
collection point, radios, tvs, then exits.
- Animation issue fixed with Danny. He will now have to complete his full mini game animation and can't cut it off and still make the tamper happen.
- Inspect speed is also being changed.
Issues
- Chainsaw stall was not a stealth nerf and is being looked at to find its problem.
- Against the idea of penalties for "lobby dodging" but solutions are being worked on.
- In game reporting is being worked on.
- Lobbys not refilling if Family leaves is being investigated, but more data is needed to
find out where the issue is occurring.
- Johnny's lines for Nancy aren't triggering and will be fixed.
Extras
- Sissy and Sonny rework is in the early stages.
- Base attributes being looked at for Sonny.
- Sissy work hasn't started yet.
- Sound following Victims will be trimmed back from slamming doors.
- Level 99 cap will be raised, and the team is working on rewards to be given post 99.
- Against the idea of penalties for "lobby dodging" but solutions are being worked on.
- Battle pass doesn't fit the game, but they're still looking at in game currency.
- Play petals to find out what happened to Maria.
- No same Victim/Family in lobbies. There will always only be one of each.
- Would like player feedback on what controls (things they'd like to turn on and off)
they'd like to see for Custom Matches.
