Quantum of Solace was arguably the best pure action movie of the Daniel Craig era, and is smart enough to not overstay it's welcome as it's also the shortest movie of the era. I genuinely liked, and still like, QoS. The entire trilogy of Casino Royale -> Quantum of Solace -> Skyfall is enjoyable despite the weird tonal and continuity shifts that occur during the sequence.
The whole thing they were setting up with Quantum (originally to replace Spectre because they had not gotten the rights back) was looking like it was going somewhere interesting....until they got the rights to Spectre back and completely abandoned it for something which turned out to be inferior. Spectre is the only real dud of the Craig era and it's a shame that they finally got the rights to that part of the IP back only to completely butcher it with that awful script and direction.
I will be genuinely sad if they ruin the James Bond franchise because for all of it's faults, it's a franchise which has been going for more than 60 years now and has encompassed 24 (official) feature films and 6 different actors. It remains the longest-running active film franchise and has adapted repeatedly to the changes in the world despite starting out during the Cold War before basically everyone posting on this forum were even born and yet always retained it's distinct character, one of which is that James Bond is an inveterate womanizer because he might be dead tomorrow so what is there to lose even? The one time Bond got married, they killed his wife off in the same film to prove that point (On Her Majesty's Secret Service) so unless they plan to do the same thing with Lea Seydoux, they will literally have completely forgotten the entirety of who James Bond even is.

Even if they screw it up and it bombs, they’ll just bring it back with a new actor after some years and we will repeat the cycle again but with different politics of the day.
I don’t think it will bomb. As long as he gets his top off and there are action sequences, general audiences probably won’t care about the politics.

9 years old that video came out. It was for 2011 international Women's day and I don't see a problem with it. It came a long time before the metoo movement and way before it was woke for the sake of being woke.

Couldn't have asked for a better combination of bond movie title and virus.
