If you liked ‘The Boys’ you should like this series too, first season was great at least.

“The Umbrella Academy” series creator Steve Blackman and his Borderline Entertainment production banner have signed a four-year overall deal with Netflix.

Blackman will write and produce series and other projects exclusively for Netflix, while continuing to serve as showrunner and executive producer on the Dark Horse Comics-based “Umbrella Academy” series which launches its second season soon.

As far as the books, I prefer The Boys, but comparing two shows, I give Umbrella Academy the edge

It’s a tough call, I think The Boys had higher highs but lower lows. Umbrella was more consistent across the entire show.
