"Video Games Live" concert goes nationwide

Video Games Live, the videogame music concert experience which was previously announced to take place at the Hollywood Bowl on July 6th has now revealed a list of North American tour dates that stretches through September.

The tour, which was the brainchild of noted videogame composers Jack Wall and Tommy Tallirico, will feature music from such seminal videogames franchises Mario, Zelda, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, Warcraft, Myst, Castlevania, Medal of Honor, Sonic, Tron, Tomb Raider, Advent Rising, Headhunter, Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, EverQuest II as well as a classic arcade medley featuring music from Pong and Donkey Kong.

Two things...

1) The "Classic Medley" sounds annoying, as it sounds like an excuse for modern syntho-pop filled with tiny sound clips. There aren't enough tunes in the Pong-DK era for any real music... and there isn't any music in Pong, anyway.
2) Am I brain-dead if I don't know who Jack Wall is and I don't see how Tommy is all that noted?

I might want to go, but my hate for Tommy is still with me. Maybe some of the bay areas finnest Gaffers want to help out with a little sabotage.
