We are happy to release our label’s anniversary compilation titled X.
A label showcase and an inside peek at our musical DNA, with art for this occasion by the virtuoso Rosenfeldtown.
When we, Emiel and Daksinamurti decided to start the label we wouldn’t have dreamed of how it turned out. Now after almost 12 years of running the label, we are still amazed by the amount of creativity this psychedelic scene has to offer. A lot of art and music still inspires us, and we are happy to have contributed to the psychedelic culture with what we do. Our mission statement hasn’t changed since the day we started – to release psychedelic music away from stereotypes and stubborn boundaries.

I love his compositions. They are so incredible dystopian and disturbing.
What if some day or night, a demon came to you, into your loneliest loneliness and say to you:
"This life as you now live and had lived it, you will have to live once more and innumerable times more."
Would you not throw yourself down, gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus?
Or had you once experienced the tremendous moment when you would have answered him:
You are a god and never had I heard anything more divine.

they are basically the only pop band/act I listen to really.
they got a bunch of great songs. I got exposed to them for the first time of course through Forza Horizon 3 and Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
both games released pretty close to eachother too.

I've been listening to more hip-hop lately to prepare for a collaboration I'm doing with a musician friend of mine. Andy Cooper, from the 90s group Ugly Duckling, has put out some excellent solo records. I picked up two of those - L.I.T.S.E.N. and Hot Off the Chopping Block - on wax in December. They're both excellent, fun, and breezey. You'll love 'em if you love UD. Oh, and Jurrassic 5, as always.

Same. I was shocked that I liked their music so much seeing as I typically do not like pop. They added some real art to it while not coming off as all pretentious and weird.

Most of the music I grew up with in the late 70s to early 90s I’ve left behind and only really listen to when I’m with my peers. Otherwise it’s all modern music (techno)

We are only in the midst of january but the year has been quite stellar for me in terms of music already. I discovered some incredible music from around 2015-2017 and in addition there have been a lot of sudden shadow releases. I have trouble keeping up which makes me excited for whats to come.
