his opinions is less than dirt.

No.

Seriously, it is your opinions that I would consider less than dirt.

You make up your mind before you research the issues. Any new information that arises seems to be ignored by yourself.

Secondly, your opinion only considers the position of yourself, and not anyone else. That's perfectly fine when talking about many domestic issues, but when it comes to the World of International Politics, where diplomacy is key, the concepts of "comprimise" and "fairness" should also be taken into account.

Ripclawe...you don't take "fairness" into account when forming your opinions.

It is perfectly fair to put American soldiers and officials on trial if they have committed crimes.

according to the latest UN best places to live, we are in solidly in the top 10, our economic power is unrivaled, the EU is not competition, China still has a ways to go and it has a host of problems just waiting, India...no..Japan..no... who else?

Why can't China and India rival the US economically eventually? It wouldn't hurt to be an optimist and hope that China and India get their turn in the sun. They might have a lot of problems right now, but there is also a tremendous sense of optimism that things will change.

no you are complicating a very simply concept, he who has the most power wins and sets the rules, many of the problems of the world is because there is absurd notion of everyone is equal, on the same level and should be treated as such.
By that standard, imperialism is prefectly justified, and furthermore, so is military aggression. Congratulations, you've advanced to proto-fascism.

The fact that people actually subscribe to the 'might makes right' creed is seriously frightening. Hell on a completely pragmatic level that sort of thinking will get you screwed when you find yourself not to be the most powerful nation on the planet anymore. I mean, nothing is forever.

So basically, Rip, what you're saying is that it's only a crime if the person or group commiting it is not powerful?
