Ben Lloyd has emailed us a way to see exactly what that Music Mixer is on the WipEout Pure website. Normally it would say ‘coming soon,’ but with some well placed mouse-clicks you can see what really is coming soon.

Once inside the website when you click on Music Mixer it would say ‘coming soon.’ Now with a precise Right mouse-click on the ‘music mixer’ button, a menu should come up like the one shown above. With care, move your mouse down to ‘play’ and like magic this will come up:

WipEout Pure music mixer, why do you taunt us by not being ready yet? It’s still unknown if this will be music only for the website or if it can be mixed and then uploaded to your PSP. What is known is that it looks cool but not too complicated, and I really want to play around with it.

I really thought Pure used MOD-style music instead of MP3, and we were getting a tracker to dick around with.

Then again, those expectations were a bit high. Still, custom music in Wipeout is awesome, and setting up your own loops and stuff is slick.

It's bloody ironic now that i'm about to sell my PSP that we finally get new audio tracks and the music mixer.
