Xbox Wins Marketing Team of the Year at Game Marketing Awards 2016

Today the Game Marketing Awards 2016 were held, andorganizer PromaxBDA announced all the winners live on its official Twitter account.

The Game Marketing Awards are held every year to “celebrate the best practices in marketing, promotion and advertising for the video gaming and interactive entertainment community.” They’re voted by a panel of top industry professionals.

Below you can check out all the winners, with Microsoft’s Xbox team followed by Bethesda pretty much dominating the scene. Eligible were all promotional campaigns released or aired in 2015, and if you see names that sound unfamiliar, those are the PR and production agencies that took part in the creation of the campaigns and ads:

A really weird choice, considering how deceptive that Halo 5 marketing campaign was. I thought everyone was massively disappointed by how that all turned out.

Looks like a west only thing, or Atlus would no doubt have been on it with the beauty that P5 trailers have

PromaxBDA only awards the finest quality marketing, life's not fair so it doesn't matter if Tomb Raider and Halo 5 drastically underperformed sales expectations.
