I just mean that at 74 cents the risk of being burnt is practically non-existent.
well you can get time burned

What exactly do you do in Arma 3? is there like npc battles?
if it's anything like arma 2 you run for 20 minutes and then get randomly killed and have to start all over

it's actually pretty fun since the process of getting into position and whatever is very tense and methodical

I was trying to do one of the tutorials in Arma 3 the other day (first one with infantry combat) and my squad was getting slaughtered very early. Don't think that it was my fault since I was not the squad leader and couldn't give orders to my squadmates. It seems that the AI has flawless aim or something

So what are we expecting from the Humble Bundle? More disappointment? Or another week with no bundle.

At the very least a decent comics bundle.
If it's an IDW Transformers Comic bundle I might just make a giveaway of it here...

anyone heard anything about this Quest for Infamy? GMG says its out tomorow, but theres no store page yet

looks like a scum engine game, but more 2d rpg instead of point and click adventure?

edit: hmm I could sware I saw a quicklook of this in the upcoming tab on giantbomb but now its gone

This caught my interest, if it's good I'll def. pick it up with my GMG credit.

Don't you hate blitzball? I wouldn't go near any of them, if I were you!

I don't hate it, it was just brokenly easy, easily boring, and boringly bereft of fun. If they had sped up the action, balanced the skills and especially the players, and in any way made use of the arena (a sphere, not a flat plane), then maybe it could've been something.

i have 22 cents left in my steam wallet. YES it matter! :O

btw JaseC. is there anyway to lock the slider bar while you're in Grid View so the damn thing won't slide around? I like keeping it at 6 games per row. I think it keep moving whenever I shut off steam and restart.

like is there a way to mess with the files in the folder?

Try changing the spacing from -1 to 01 or 02. You'll get a small gap but Steam should remember the zoom level between restarts.

For what it tries to be, I would say Bad Rats is the better game. :)

Wait what?
you do love your hyperbole, I assume

but didn't you like recruiting and managing and making good team part of it, at least?
Although I never could understand "too easy" complaint, not that you have access to any really good players aside of Tidus for some time, and even when you have, you still need to train them.
It did lack balance, though, a good goalie (which is very hard to obtain, actually) made all the difference.

they added the Bootcamp a few days ago - try that one :) yeah - the "training" AI is merciless in all the showcase missions :p

What exactly do you do in Arma 3? is there like npc battles?

You pile 8 dudes into a clunky as fuck vehicle and drive at a neckbreaking speed of "light breeze" for half an hour until you get to the LZ and get mortared before the engine even turns off. Then you all laugh your way back to base from the ether and do it again. Only this time there's no mercy. Motherfuckers fallin under the long hard dick of the law left and right.

Arma 3's pretty much an open book. You can do a lot of single player exercises but the multi is where the real fun is at. Mass PVP, really awesome PVE co-op type stuff which is what my crew runs. Dynamic objectives all over the large ass map. Can't wait til our buddy gets back from his trip so he can take us for a ride in Zeus mode.

Death Grips?

The only way we know how to play is with a DG mixtape in the deck. So we decided to let our enemies know who is comin to town.

There are days where I scroll through my Steam library deciding what to play when it slowly dawns on me how huge my backlog is.

... Then I play never-ending games like Geometry Wars.

Or if you still want the zero space you can click on the slider and use the arrow keys to adjust it. Actually the position is saved, you just need to "reset" it.

So the position is saved every time I shutdown steam? Hmm. I'll try that out tomorrow. I thought it keep going back to the default.

Btw how smooth is it for everyone when you scroll up and down while in grid view? Sometimes I get pop-in or it won't scroll as smoothly.

The slider position is saved, but Steam doesn't remember the actual zoom level until you adjust the slider again.

... like Wheelman? oh yes - I went there :p
please, don't kill me ;)

It'll come back. You'll see!

based on it's premise and level of expectation, I'm absolutely serious.

oh expectations!
we are much less forgiving to games that fail to live up to our expectations, that's true.

but even then, it's still no bad rats...

edited: Wheelman talk! I missed it

Yeah, I usually click on the slider and hit left-right to fix it.

Btw how smooth is it for everyone when you scroll up and down while in grid view? Sometimes I get pop-in or it won't scroll as smoothly.

I think the pop-in appeared after a certain patch, and yeah sometimes the scrolling is not very smooth. I don't even have that many games so I don't think it's related to that.

I think Gamersgate is 9 a.m. GMT +1.
Humble Bundle is 7-8p.m. GMT+1
Steam 7 p.m. GMT+1
GreenmanGaming?
Gamefly?

If there was anything to the recruiting and managing and team-building, sure, but all you really had to do was recruit Brother.

The name suggests it's a game about shrubbery. Probably a trimming simulator?

It's an RTS.

Q*bert... rebooted? I thought my eyes are failing me. I need to buy that, for memories.

Good to see someone else knows Qbert :D I played it a lot in arcades when I was just a kid and it is a nice surprise to see this reboot showing up out of the blue.

Seeing how other olden games have already seen a sort of reboot, I would like to see:

* Galaxian/Galaga
* Dig-dug/Mr Do
* Missile command

Hmm, I was thinking my list would have been much longer but can't think of anything else right now.

The No Man's Sky being de-announced for PC is depressing me right now.

De-announced? I didn't think it ever go announced it was coming to PC as of yet, well officially anyway. Considering I pop in Hello Games' website quite often and follow their Twitter account (doesn't help with me spamming Joe Danger facts) I've only heard PS4 mentioned. The last I heard was that they are not tied to any exclusive contracts but due to going from 4 staff to 10 just recently their focus is on PS4 and then we'll see. Fingers crossed it's going to be like Joe Danger and it'll come eventually but this is a crazy ambitious project by the sounds of how things work.

Also I would put about as much faith in GameSpot's 'reporting' as I would do a newswire. Well they're close to the same bloody thing anyway.

Edit: In fact have it from the horses mouth from one of the few sites I trust to get their facts straight.

Basically we’re doing a console debut on PS4. That’s all we’re saying right now. But that leaves open a PC version, which we really want to do

He went on to be a bit cagey as to when but there sounds like there's a lot of work left to do.

thanks Pork, royale being surprisingly fast lately

Honestly surprised that keys were available so soon. I was expecting a few more days at least.

The Namco Museum Gamecube/PS2/Xbox Arrangement version of Dig Dug was rad. I think the Galaga Arrangement version was too.
