Civ is rock paper scissors compared to EU4....I'm in the process of learning how to play EU4 now and its on a whole another level to Civ.

Deciding on strategies for EU4 felt more intuitive for me for some reason. When I play Civ it feels like I'm just randomly deciding what to do and hoping for the best.

I'm scared to get into EU! It looks insanely complex. Civ 5 had a tough learning curve, but damn.

I like the music but not fond of the artstyle. Hope to see more of the game before making any decisions.

I mean, a recent picture from their office had this progress board. Note SLI Support (first sticky in Ryan's row). Seems like a pretty PC only feature.

That game is being so overhyped, the scale and idea are big but I doubt any part of it will be flushed out. The ground level gameplay looked bland and the space combat looked one dimensional in depth, this is coming from someone who owns a PS4

I require more information. When did this happen?

Is this true?

This basically chronicles what happened tonight.

Gamespot tweeted out that No Man's Sky was coming to PC/PS4 in 2014. They then retweeted the correction that No Man's Sky would release on PS4 in 2015.

Giantbomb reported last week that Hello Games could not commit to a PC version yet as they were afraid that it would, and I'm paraphrasing here, stretch development resources too thin. This could be due to a variety of factors, possibly the development time they lost from the late December flood last year, possible Sony contract, or a myriad of other problems.

Either way, I am depressed after hearing this. We know that we will see the game eventually, but I was very much looking forward to this title.

To be fair, you aren't as game starved as the majority of PS4 owners as you play on PC as well.

Slim pickins' over there for the foreseeable future.

You had me worried! A delayed PC release is annoying, but inevitable with the consoles trying to grab what attention they can. Just wait it out.

That seems like some incredibly contrasting evidence. Hello Games has been completely quiet about platforms as well.

I don't think I'm going to get worked up over the NMS thing until we get an official announcement on its cancellation or delay on the PC.

I will cry into my drink however if it joins Everybody's Gone to the Rapture as leaving my life before it happened.

I've had Civ V in my inventory since release and Ive been avoiding it because I remember what Civ IV did to me heh

I'm not going to buy into the NMS hype until they decide to put it on Early Access first. It just seems like a game that needs that kind of feedback.

No Man's Sky seems incredibly over hyped.

I agree, game seems interesting but I think it might be like Spore that promised/sounded better than the actual game.

I have the feeling that most of the procedural stuff will be very similar and only change the colors of the plants, animals, terrain, etc.

Well I have other platforms so it's not so bad for me. Poor one system bastards! I got The Last of Us for my first playthrough coming in though and Guilty Gear Xrd a bit later, but Wii U soon after will be stealing my time with Bayo 1+2.
There's also The Evil Within to account for to~! So many games so soon!

I'm going to laugh when No Man's Sky turns into another DayZ/RUST/The Forest/Starbound type game where you have a huge world to do absolutely nothing in.

I was hype about it some time ago, but now that they've shown their cards and there's no real multiplayer in there and it's basically a rougelike without the combat, I don't see the point.

Yea i fell for the starbound hype as well. Nothing to do in that game except grind for armor and shit to fight bosses

I'm playing through Dark Souls right now and I just killed Gravelord Nito.
I know Gravelord Nito is a member of SteamGaf, so, I'm sorry man! ;-;

No, you don't understand. I need Frosty to give me recognition. I feel like he's been avoiding me ever since I came over here like an older brother would do to his younger brother in high school.

I don't have a dad complex, I swear.

It's okay I feel the same way about Rhaknar.

Had some fun with Shadownet, corrosivefrost, and Hugstable on Payday 2, fuck what you heard about Heat this is the real heist crew.

I would be okay with No Man's Sky being like that. I would actually prefer it to be something like Journey with some light space combat gameplay, where you just travel through the systems and watch the generated worlds. It seems like something that would be very relaxing. :)
