Are you a perv when playing video games?

Ok, seems to be a bit of a misconception here. Only speaking for myself of course but just because I've tried to get a better angle on Lara Croft does not mean it was so I could jack off to it. I can't believe anyone would even go there. That's never even come close to happening.

Yeah, you just test the limits of the game and sometimes get a naughty reward. We all know is easier to get porn but it lacks the challenge.

Haha, I just figured out I could do that in The Last Story (at least, I can remove the shirt, haven't tested if the rest could be removed).

Lol no. But regardless why would you try to position the characters in DA:I to get a good shot when there are already scenes with your love interest if you're so interested in seeing boobs? I mean really now.

Yup, I'm a perv too lol

And here's a nugget of information that's only known to a select few: in the first Kane and Lynch game the girl that's a hostage in the game is wearing a pink pair of panties with a picture of a teddy bear on the front. You can't see them in-game but while I was testing the game one of the other testers was being a perv and playing around with the dev tools which included being able to move the camera lol

30 minutes seems a little insane to me OP, but whatever makes you happy.

I've never gone out of my way to be a perv in games. And I definitely don't buy games like Senran Kegura or that camera game, I don't like the look of those games at all. If anything I go out of my way to be the opposite because I get paranoid of being called out for being creepy - so, in MMOs for instance, I never play a woman even though I might find them nicer to look at while I'm playing. It's a stupid thing to be defensive about but I'm a stupid person.

I said half-jokingly to my friends a while ago in conversation that I thought Samus was pretty attractive and they ripped into me. It didn't upset me and I get I made myself an easy target (one of them collects figures and plays Senran Kagura so they were hardly serious) but it bothers me in general that the difference between real women/men and computer generated or animated ones is such a huge deal to some people. I don't really get why when I watch House and find Olivia Wilde attractive it's "safer" to announce that than it is to like the look of a fictional woman or man because real or not they are both unattainable and it's all meaningless to anyone else in the end. Character designers design most characters to look attractive - recognizing that seems to be taboo to some people though. And some of those people seem to enjoy shaming other people for thinking that kind of stuff, or promoting the idea that if you find virtual characters attractive you don't find real people attractive (or don't/can't have a partner, etc. etc.).

Anyway, that's probably the saddest and most embarrassing post I've ever made on GAF, but it has been bugging me for a while now.

Absolutely.

I've spent so much time in Skyrim installing adult mods and ogling my character in different outfits and poses.

I love games like Senran Kagura.

I'm a pervert and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I crouched behind Alex's ass in HL2 whenever I had to wait for a cutscene, but other than that not really. Can't say that I play games that cater to that sort of thing anyway.

Yeah I'm a bit of a perv. I'm playing Kingdoms of Amalur and I take my characters chest armor because I chose the one with the biggest breast. I don't take the armor all the time because is actually an awesome piece of gear.

No but I've probably tried to look up a character's skirt out of curiosity. Which people will probably roll their eyes at and say 'oh yeah sure, curiosity'.

Last night in GTAV I was Trevor out on one of the small docks. Some girl in a skirt decided to call me disgusting or something and then go into classic GTA NPC Panic Mode, screaming and running away. Might have had something to do with the fact I was a hyper-running, super-jumping, explosive-round wielding asshole that might have been causing a "little" bit of ruckus.

Anyway, the perverted part now. Now I, playing the part (ahem) of real life angry nerd who resents women, chased her. Having the fast run code entered, this wasn't hard. If you've ever chased NPCs, you notice that sometimes they have superhuman abilities to run up mountain sides and whatnot. This was also the case here. Chased her up a steep incline above the ocean. Super jumped and landed in front of her, then landed an explosive punch (yeah, explosive melee attack code enabled too). Then she started comically, slowly sliding down the embankment toward the ocean, but stopped part way down. Then, the greatest thing ever happened: her legs were facing uphill, and the wind blew her skirt up. Seeing as how actual sex in this case wasn't going to be possible, I did the next best thing: I repeatedly blasted her vagina and asshole with my explosive pistol rounds, gradually nudging her down the hill to a sensible body storage area underneath the sea.

I don't regret double dipping this game to do all of the above in 1080p.

Oh, and another fun activity on any wood dock is to have flaming rounds enabled, then get as many as you can trapped on the end of the dock (pointing a gun and causing a panic is a good way to do that). Shoot one of them that is in front of the rest. When he catches fire, the dock starts burning too, and if it's close enough to the end of the dock with other people there, well, I'm afraid there's just no escape for those folks.

I am a terrible, terrible person.

You actually made me look like a saint with that one...

I don't go out of my way to perv, though on stretches of walking in a straight line where nothing happens I do tend to turn the camera around to see the character from all kinds of angles. It's more of a way to appreciate all the animations people worked on, but that does get kinda awkward for some game characters.

If you wanted a more realistic answer to the question "Who is a perv?", you probably were better off asking "Who has a Vita?" #shotsfired

Totally. Any game that lets me play a hot chick or let's me create one always gets bonus points from me. My character in sunset overdrive is a very hot Asian chick. I also may have the Senran Kagura games on 3DS and Vita. Oh and DOA5 is the best fighter of last gen and soon to be current gen.

What OP, do you think all those people buy games like Dead or Alive mainly for its great fighting mechanics? :p

Well some weirdos may do :p but it's more of like added benefits :p

Well today i climbed some vines in Tera. The i tried to see how far away i was from the top and... lets say i didn't change the camera while climbing afterwards.

If the occasion presents itself to me i'll profit, that's pretty much it. But i will not seek perverted shots for long.
