Well, I learned two new things today.

Can't believe I forgot Gundam and Virtual On, though that's probably because they're not what comes to mind when I think fighting game.

Virtual On: Raiden

Gotcha Force: Proto Red, Machine Dragon, Antares, Teleport Ninja (in fact, there's too many to list)

Gundam Extreme VS: The O, Master Gundam, Turn X

I hate Millia way more than Chipp. They're essentially the same type of character except Chipp's annoyingness and setups are largely gimmicks (he just has countless variations on em'), so you have to have some dedication to the character to make him solid.

Millia on the other hand...

At least Leffen is present, dunno about other big names.

EDIT: They also have a small window onstream that posts a nonstop stream of salty quips :D

The difference is that Chipp's visual design is ass. The blade alone makes me want to kill someone. And then there's the president gag. >_>

I hate Chipp.

It makes us stronger. You can only kill chipp with love.

Or, well, pretty much anything kills Chipp.

I have a lot of respect for good chipp players.

But fuck Xrd chipp

I like Leo a lot, so if Chipp gets worse in revisions, I'll drop him in a heartbeat. I've hated him in most iterations because I never felt the reward for playing him was proportionate to the the difficulty and damage of the character. Xrd is really the most time I've SERIOUSLY dedicated to GG because Chipp has been the only character I like.

Look, man, Chipp is living the American Dream. He was selling SMACK on the street, alright? He was an addict and a dealer, caught up in some bad shit. Then he discovered ninjitsu! Becoming a ninja helped him get clean, go back to school, and study hard -- and look! Now he's the President! (Of a self-founded kingdom of refugees.)

We should all hope that we could be more like Chipp Zanuff.

It is the third year anniversary of release of Street Fighter X Tekken. I cannot say I was a fan of the game, but the assets allowed me to play as Hugo in Ultra Street Fighter 4 so at least something good came out of it. We probably all remember the on disc DLC fiasco then there were of course the pacing issues of the game "Jab x Timeout" as Aquasilk used to put it. I never really touched it after the balance patch was released so maybe I will try to throw it into the 360 as give it a go.

Let us reminisce

SFxT game, as well as Tekken x Street Fighter, were announced Summer 2010 and I don't think there has been any real news of TxSF other than the 40 person staff announcement from earlier this year.

Also, I do believe there is going to be an Xrd talk at GDC today about the graphics. I look forward to reading random tweets from the talk if someone is willing to live tweet it.

Got my main stick re-modded for PS4. Now I have to wait for the other one. I was REALLY tempted to get the Hori VLX for PS3/4 but I already have 3 sticks already and can't really justify another purchase of one.

I wouldn't hate him so much if Ky still had Ex j.D

As it stands now ky vs chipp is a fight were ky has no battle plan outside of flail around like a dumbass

The reason most people hate Chipp is because that's how every MU with him goes. Most people pick Chipp because they love pushing buttons(and his normals are pretty great in Xrd, tbh).

I neglected to mention that if Chipp just goes in flailing and trades with anyone, he'll usually lose. Especially against Sol. Playing Chipp well is supposed to be a harmony of crazy and careful, but that can hardly be an expected exhibition online.

I really wish they'd patch SfxT one more time. Balance patch and then changing the ticks on the timer to be a bit slower. Game can be fast but it still feels like the clock is moving too quickly for the pace of the game.

I really enjoyed my time with Street Fighter x Tekken. My Juri/Marduk team was really satisfying to play. Most folks that I talked to--whether it was in my scene or online--were really turned off by the initial release and the whole "Street Fighter x Time Out" business and the various infinites that the game had. My local scene for that game died out really quickly--even before the on disc DLC business, which really killed the game for many.

I stopped playing it before the DLC came out, but I still remember enjoying myself.

supposedly in bizarro world phoenix, they still play sfxt. I had a team of lili and i think juli. I think i stopped since ppl playing dried up. Also was super busy at the time
