As soon as it happens I'll be crying tears of joy. It's my most wanted mod. That along with proper engine sounds and ICEnhancer.

So there are 2 FoV mods... which one is better?

Also I'm scared about online bans but I guess I'll just disable it when I wanna play online.

Would love some pier mods...

Peds use rollercoaster and Ferris wheel. Don't know if it's possible but I'd like to see the coaster function in SP when not instigated by the player.
Realistic rollercoaster - Even if it's much slower. At the moment it's a bit random.
Use phone on Ferris wheel and more camera control.
What can I say I like the pier :eek:

I know it's possible since Franklin's power has a lesser form of the effect I'm talking about. Anyways if it's not being made yet, someone please make it!!!

Heads up for everyone, friend of mine who has been installing all sorts of mod related stuff recently has had his PC security compromised, money and info stolen etc, and the most likely culprit right now is some infected mod download.
I don't want to sound alarmist, but I guess here's a friendly reminder for everyone: be mindful when downloading things from websites you're unfamiliar with and run virus/malware scans often (Win Defender, Malwarebytes, etc).

I was waiting on some licensed car mods to start the story, but there seems to be no way of finding out whether people are even working on this *sigh

Latest script hook is compatible with the current GTA V Version, and has a weather modifier to enable snow.

Oh awesome but is that snow as in the weather (Which the older version had) or snow as in the snow textures on the ground like MP christmas?

Now I need to find a way to get the new update to not crash for me :/

Weather. Modders have only managed to activate the real snow online so far.

Does anyone know what's preventing new weapon/world/car textures/replacements? Some were really good for IV, and even SA.

The infancy of the game. OpenIV's team have figured out how to decrypt the game, browse and extract its files, but they haven't figured out how to re-encrypt modded files without crashing the game.

I think it'd be cool to have a podcast catcher built into the radio system. No idea how to make that happen, so in case there are any skilled people out there looking for ideas... :)

Modding GTA V is now officially not permitted, if this source isn't wrong. They changed the EULA. Not just GTA online which would be fine, no, GTA V in general.
To justify the banning of players, some Rockstar representatives are referring players to the EULA where the following can now be found:

You agree not to:
[..] reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, display, perform, prepare derivative works based on, or otherwise modify the Software, in whole or in part;

Why are Rockstar such shits about cheats? They would remove the need for many mods.

SA had great cheats but IV and now V have garbage cheats that are useless. It makes absolutely no sense. Just seems like incompetence or a lack of caring.

Im loving these mods, tho i am concerned that Rockstar are banning people in GTA Online even tho your only using your mods in SP :/

I've always used mods only in SP, and removed them when going online, apart from one instance where I forgot to remove the trainer before launching online, but even then I didn't use it, and so far haven't been banned. It's still a load of bullshit if people are being banned for using FOV mods in multiplayer.

So you reckon it's specifically going into GTA Online with any mod enabled that they are banning for?

I got the game a few days ago in order to start diving into the mods and it seems like they've suddenly turned around and decided to go ban crazy.

All I want to do is mod in single-player offline :/
