The best thing about Nintendo's digital event is that we won't have to wait till 2017 for these games.

While that is true, All-Stars Wii was released with SMB1 - SMW were on Wii VC.
I would not count VC releases as any clue.

Sunshine HD could be more realistic, but I am expecting an HD remaster.

Oh, that's a good point. Don't get me wrong, I'd be all for it. Just feel like with newer releases they're less likely to put them up for download and then sell an HD remaster. Just speculation on my part really but same reason Metroid Prime Trilogy seems like an unlike ly candidate for remaster to me.

Seems like an awesome event so far, would have loved to see all of Sony's announcements as they happened. Unfortunately, because of work I am stuck far far away from home and this place has god awful internet.

NX is not coming next year, next year is just when they are going to start talking about it. Not saying it WON'T come out next year, but everyone seems to be jumping to that conclusion and I just don't see it.

At this point I just call NX the 3DS successor and Wii U successor (two different devices). Semantics issues aside.

The way Nintendo talks about NX, it sounds like it wont release till 2017, and the Wii U would have the standard 5 year life cycle.

NX is only being revealed next year. If it's a console we'll be looking at a late 2017 release...but I think it's more likely to be a handheld (a slim chance it might make holiday 2016 if it's a handheld..but more likely to be March/April 2017).

Agree that there won't be Super Mario Galaxy HD. It wouldn't make sense to do it.

And I don't think how a 3DS port of SMG would work. Sure, I guess you could use the touchscreen for collecting stars and so on, but hmm i don't think it would work properly.

I'm hoping for Eternal Darkness HD. Or a remake of Super Mario Sunshine - with all the crap removed. Properly designed levels and so on.

Or well what about Legend Of Zelda - Ocarina Of Time + Majora's Mask HD for Wii U?

Twilight Princess on 3DS, that would be nice.

Oh, all good ideas and points. A perfected and improved Mario Sunshine would top my list if ideal remasters along with a Luigi's Mansion collection. Twilight Princess seems much likelier for an HD or 3DS port than othereldas as the N64 ones were recently remastered for 3DS, but I'll also say predicting Nintendo's announcements us generally impossible so any or none of these could happen.

It sure looks stunning in HD, and I believe it was meant to be in HD... but Twilight Princess needs a remake. It's literally painful to look at it (I mean, I dropped the game because of eye pain caused by low contrast and blur).
