I've never seen one of these pages automatically grant the game instead of just giving a key. Looks like they finally got in touch with someone at Valve of use.
Yeah, it expired last week. They gave us about a month's notice.

There's some days I'm pretty sure you hate me.
Maybe it means it can make you overconfident, choosing to stand and bang as opposed to dodging and timing your attacks, or just paying attention to your health. (Ref = havel's set)

Without having a character reaction to damage taken one would be less likely to keep an eye on their health as much as characters with less poise that get staggered. It will make people feel super powerful even though they are getting their ass beat.

Most hardcore players never go over 40 End. You stop gaining stamina at that point. If you are a few points away from an encumbrance breakpoint and have your preferred equips that might be an exception.
Certain attacks will knock you down if your poise is low and you take no damage when down. Hint: think about dragon attacks. Also PVPers can chain WoG easier on high poise characters.

So I bought Darksider 2 Deathinitive Edition at release and just used the "upgrade" website to get my free copy for owning darksiders 2. Instead of giving me a free copy it just said that I already own the game.
What should I do now? Refund the game and use the website again?

I finished Loot Hunter last night; 100%ed it in about 24 hours of playing. Here's my review, not much to really spoil, but just being safe:
TLDR; Decent simplified Pirates! wannabe with lacking match-3 combat, worth about 4-5 hours of fun. Don't 100% unless you're a masochist.
Its a fun little simplified Sid Meier's Pirates-like game, without the duels and the ship combat as a match-3 game. There's not really any story, you just go around in your ship completing quests from 3 separate countries in an effort to gain land, money, treasure and upgrades. This can be done through trading at multiple outposts and cities on the map, and fighting ships from the respective countries or other pirates.
A few things hampered my experience as I progressed though. First, the match-3 game was pretty lacking; there are no chains even if you match 3 or higher of another set if new tiles fall in a row/column after your initial move. There are skills you can buy during your travels that are used in the 3-match game. A 4+ match would continue your turn, which later proves to be a little overpowered when coupled with one of the skills you can buy. Repair tiles usually aren't worth it, as attacks greatly outweigh any repairs that can be done. Attacks generally get more powerful the more tiles you can string together, though somehow for me, getting an attack with 4 matching tiles gave me better damage than anything 4+, i dunno.
Secondly, the more you level, the harder the ship spawns become, and I'm not talking a little bit more difficult. Having the best ship and additions by level 25~, some of the encounters you face (ships or squadrons 10-20 levels higher) as you play on are near impossible and retreat is the only option.
Lastly, in order to 100% the game, you'll have to play way beyond the time that is intended to be enjoyable for. To get to basically the end game (which i consider having the best ship, fairly high rank, and about 90% of the achievements) only took about 5 hours, so that meant it took me 19 hours of pure grinding to get the last two achievements. I suffered through it and because of it, i'll probably never play it again. In hindsight, 5 hours was enough and I might have in the future played it again if I stopped there.

In his defense, contextually for some anyone who isn't in NG+++ and higher is perceived as a newcomer.
You're not supposed to receive a key/gift copy, just a licence for your own account. If you were granted a licence, you'll see "Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition External" on your licences page, in which case you can refund your store-bought copy. It's not free for all DS2 owners, FYI: you need to have the Season Pass as well.
