For newcomers? The Havel's set that is only available in Anor Londo? lol :p

Also, making a tank build without looking up guides and such, on your first run through the game? Yeah, that's a bad idea.
can't be much worse than WATCH OUT FOR THAT PESKY POISE THAT MIGHT KILL YA!

it's a bad tip with a confusing message that helps no one

poise is good, period. the more you have the better. it's not a double edged sword or anything.

it's also true that the best defense is to never get hit, but that's more difficult for a new player that hasn't memorized all the attacks and whatnot. hence, high poise, high armor is good for them

Reminds me how lame a copy Scorpioness Najka was from Quelaag.
it's the cycles man!

it's all the in cycles!

also personally i like the boss fight against najka better than queelag. queelag's pretty lame with all her aoe. najka at least had a varied set of moves, ranged and melee and that weird diving attack, two tails to cut if u wanted some extra fun and that secret item if u also wanted to make things more interesting

but yea the design of queelag is much better, tho there's so much praise i can give a spider

You know the way I can bump into a random sidequest in the Witcher III, out of the way and off the critical path, that has a tighter story with better characterisation, consequence and outcome than anything MGS5 offered really sums this crazy year up.

Paz side was really nice, maybe the only thing good out of this game, plot related. Than you realize Venom snake run around with a Paz's bone stucked on his head, with several bone fragments scattered through is body. And here the game becomes something camp, vintage, a la Adam West's Batman.

Witcher seems to trade gameplay for story, where as with MGSV it's almost the complete opposite. I'd choose one based on priorities.

Also
Huey
in MGS was great.

I'm about to start playing Dark Souls. I've only played like one hour of it a long time ago. I usually like to play games without looking at guides. Can I go blind or do I need to know anything before I start?

I've already installed the DSFix.

All you need now is to just play the game and ignore the guides heh.

That image's not bad but I dislike how it states that dodging and mobility are better than blocking and defence. It's a matter of personal preference. A beginner should just play the game the way they see fit without any guidance of that kind since most options are perfectly viable.

Reminds me how lame a copy Scorpioness Najka was from Quelaag.

She's a lady with a scorpion for an arse. Totally different.

The first BB DLc boss is such a fucking bullshit.

Oh, about BB: the other day I turned to try it a little from a friend. The DLC is bullshit insane. He is on NG+, almost every enemy two shots him, than he reached a cave with this giant non-boss monster we even couldn't see because it was pitch dark, and that thing insta-killed him. I think From screwed up the difficulty setting here, by looking that play it seems too unfair.

lol I had quite the troubles with Najka compared to Quelaag :/

Hmm. Never really had too much trouble with either of them. I do remember Quelaag killing me in one hit during my first NG+ run.
AOE attack which I'd never seen before
. It made me laugh, good memories.

Can anyone tell me if Ikaruga is on sale? A whole bunch of games became unavailable to purchase here with the recent conversion to chilean pesos, including Ikaruga.

Hi btw

Yeah bits of that quest ark were pretty cool but chancing on finding it, let alone knowing all the tricks to the missions so they're not tedious busy work was not exactly ideal. Still better than just a repeat [EXTREME] mission or the repetitive Side Ops. In gameplay terms it's the best game I've played this year but for me it's so lacking in other areas that all the shine was taken right off.

Show me your receipt.

It certainly is far harder than the base game, i mean, i'm just coming from there. Some of the enemys are recyclced from the basegame and do far more damage while at the same time they give far less souls/bloob/Whateva.

The Boss killed me ~15 times already, at least 5 times under 10 seconds without me getting a single hit in.

Idlemaster requires Steam to be running, so until Valve does Steam on Android...

They're finally streaming at a reasonable time. How does vault giveaways work?

You use accrued ATP to try and win stuff (games, then swag, then hardware). It's usually at the very end of the stream, taking upwards of an hour or more. They'll explain the process beforehand.

jshackles

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
jshacks, given that Valve won't obviously share sale data for their ongoing 'no daily deals' experiment, maybe we could infer something from Enchanted Steam server load?

You wrote that day one of the sale blew straight through all your expectations, how were days 2 and onwards in comparison?

Obviously, Enhanced Steam server traffic doesn't necessarily correlate into sales, but I'm happy to help provide any insight I can.

Wednesday was huge. Like, really huge. I know that Valve usually doesn't want to let their sales dates slip out (since it will discourage people from buying games on the run up to the sale) but it was pretty well known this time around when the sale was going to start. People may have been buying normally during the run up to the sale simply because refunds are a thing now, who knows. I think that because a lot of people (common folk who don't follow Steam much) knew of, and were anticipating a sale, that the numbers were higher than ever. Anyway, the first day of the sale shattered all Enhanced Steam server records in pretty much all respects besides number of downloads (more on that in a minute).

Subsequent days of the sale, despite having traditional "daily deals" have been pretty massive, but are more or less on par with what I'm used to seeing during a typical sale day. The numbers are higher than average for me, but I've also had about 300,000 Enhanced Steam downloads since the Summer Sale earlier this year. It's hard to say for certain, but since that's about 8% of the total install base and I'm seeing about 11% higher server loads, it's pretty straight across though slightly higher than the loads during the Summer Sale. Day two had about 23% of the total traffic as day one did. Subsequent days have slid about 10% per day so far, meaning that each day has about 90% of the traffic as the previous day. This is a little sharper decline than we're used to seeing with the sales, presumably because people kept revisiting the sales in previous years but also (again, presumably) because people this year have figured out that the sales aren't changing.

Another variable in the mix is that in all the previous sales for the past 2 years or so, Enhanced Steam has been mentioned in a major news article from a popular gaming website thus driving more traffic to the site, and subsequently the API. This sale is the first sale since the Winter sale of 2013 where that didn't happen. So it's possible that these new users skewed the "normalized" results vs this year's findings.

Hopefully this info helps. The TL;DR version: traffic was massive the first day and has been declining each subsequent day - sharp at first then gradual every other day, but there are a lot of factors involved so it's hard to say for sure the driving factors behind the numbers.

Dunno ?_? check the OT opening night for all my posts
i died 7 times pre extra boss, 2 of which were suicide
no boss killed me more than once besides lawrence

100%d by like 3:30

How did you play? Co-Op with high level characters? I'm level 77 Solo right now and it's ripping me apart. Can't believe someone is calling that thing easy lol.

Im too frustrated now, gotta try it again tomorrow.

Typing of the Dead: Overkill is a really good game guys. And oddly enough, a lightgun game makes a bit of sense with a kb/m (well at least more than on a gamepad imo). Its really cool they give you both versions

Weird, Skylines on Nuuvem used to be a region-free key :(

Anyhow, i've check the package right now and it seems it's only a activation lock. Simply use a VPN to a South American country, activate the key, disable VPN.

2 hours, usually.
And yes, as you stated in the example. You need to type !ticket x

where x= number of tickets you can afford

For you.
Can I use www.unblock-us.com?
Won't get any trouble with my account on Steam?

Any VPN with South American countries should work really. I reccomend FlyVPN.

Historically, activating a Steam key with a VPN has never landed a single steam account in trouble. I've done it several times to get some region-exclusive editions from different countries and never had a single issue, and neither has JaseC.

Just remember to turn off the VPN after activating and make sure you don't buy anything on the store with the VPN activated and you will be fine.
