Anyone have luck recently buying Dying Light through Nuuvem with vpn? I can't get it to finalize paypal, it keeps realizing I'm not in the region.

Everyone's been having this problem with the odd title. They'll get past initial check, but if it does a PayPal check...nope.

It's a sad time.

Could someone who nuuvem still works for buy me Fallout Classic Collection and After Dark Cities Skylines dlc? I'd send you the money first obviously.

I went with Siren. Her special will let me actually hit something for once. (Although I'll have to give up on headshots with this strat, since humanoids curl up into a friggin' ball. Bah.)

Anyway, I've just finished Life is Strange episode 2 yesterday. I'm still not feeling it though. The game still doesn't give me the urge to play the next episode asap. And it seems that the last episode (ending) is kinda bad? So I only have episode 3 and 4 left to surprise me. Perhaps I've watched too many anime in the past, so this kind of story just doesn't surprise me anymore. And as I've said earlier in this thread, the bad facial expressions/animations kinda killed the immersion. For shame.

Hah thanks y'all, just kinda floored that my advice worked but they were still angry. ._.

Heh, it's understandable. He spent 2 whole dollars on your game and had a problem, posted about it and you had the galls to politely answer him, offer a couple possible solutions all the while telling him to keep you posted in case those solutions didn't work out so you could help further.
I think any normal person would get angry at such a level of customer care. I mean, I would have expected a blowjob or two to make up for it, to be honest.

I guess we are just waiting for the month to end or will the December thread go up before this month ends?

I know earlier I said I was going to go with Digital Storm and just have them build my PC, but after doing a price comparison

Digital Storm = $8511
Building it myself = $5133

The build it myself price includes sleeving and full hardline watercooling on both GPUs and the CPU. IThe only thing I couldn't throw in was Digital Storm's badass case.

Yeah... a $3400 premium sounds a little ridiculous now.

I had motion sickness with the defaults too. Most games are usually fine but I had to change a bunch of stuff and get the frame rate up to 60 to mitigate it.

They definitely appear to be Idle Thumbs listeners. They addressed a couple of things I'm sure those guys have talked about before. And then you have the weird
Jeff Goldblum
jokes. I'd say there's a handful of puzzles that probably should have been axed but I guess they found most testers were okay.
speaking of idle thumbs, i just couldn't get into that podcast. tbh with giantbomb's two podcasts i have most of the week covered and i spend the rest of the time listening to game design stuff, but idle thumbs was kinda eh for me. i'm sure i didn't get enough exposure to it or whatever but i didn't find myself blown away like i was expecting after so much good rep

No time for vidya games, must binge watch Star Wars.

Does that price include a car?

Damn.

Can I borrow $3000.

Nothing right now. I'm just getting an idea how much a prebuilt system will cost compared to building it myself. I'm waiting for Pascal and the new Intel chipset to hit. I've been putting money aside for my enthusiast build since 2012 waiting for 20nm (now 16nm FF).

I figured more people would be talking about how ludicrous the mark up for a pre-built enthusiast PC is.

just notice this

bro, 3k already can give you rig with Titan X I think

buy me some game pls

oh my gawf

Prebuilt PCs always have absurd mark ups and it's why I would never recommend someone buy one because building a desktop is really, really easy and honestly if you can't manage that how do you live?

Oh yeah. Watched the anime twice, watched the movie, and played the visual novel.
All anime haters should watch it and think back at what they've been missing all of this time.

Are you going to be one of those guys in the console threads who have 3 Titan Xs and still go "I think I'll get the Xbox One version"

It's always hilarious to see.
But 'the community is better/my friends are onXB1' argument is kinda solid.

Outside of a few Christmas gifts for others, the only thing I bought this sale was Downwell. I really hope they do a better job with the Winter Sale.

I liked the Mechromancer (Gaige) in Borderlands 2

Did they ever fix that thing where if you used a gamepad, the button for "pick up" was the same for "reload"? Because that made building stacks absolutely horrendous. Can't believe that wasn't caught from the start.

You forget the guy who streamed himself building his PC and took him 3 days.

No idea, but when I played I was just always ready to switch guns to cancel out a reload if I did it accidentally. Then again, it would probably just be easier to switch to a gun with full ammo so it is impossible to reload. And luckily there is a skill you can take that will activate a skill every time you reload that slowly drains stacks instead of losing them all (which can be deactivated with another reload).

It was still annoying that you couldn't map pick up to a different button, but at least I got to a point where it was no longer a big deal.

A friend of mine who was in a much much wealthier position than I built a 5K rig awhile back - i7, multiple (low quality) monitors, dual or triple Titans. He didn't need the performance, he mostly did it because he could.

Because.

He.

Could.
