You know when I made an off the cuff remark a few years ago that the BBC doesn't make that many quality drama programmes anymore because it was much easier and cheaper to churn out reality TV that kept viewers engaged more by controversies going on with the shows that the content in them I didn't think it would have parallels with Valve later on.

To get James kicked, buy a Dota 2 item.

To get Sheever kicked, buy a Dota 2 item.

Etc.

The votes of the public will decide who gets kicked. Speak with your wallet, decide with your hats!

For people who like doing all achievements, in Darkness Within is impossible to get the penultimate story-related one. You solve the puzzle and nothing happens. Not a big deal, but since there are people who actually care I reported it here.

It seems there's a solution: turning particles off.

Lol. I can't try it because I uninstalled the game, but it's worth a try if you have the problem.

Ubi's stated unlock times for Far Cry Primal are three hours earlier than what the store page countdown timer indicates. I'm going to be annoyed if it pulls a "We're working with Valve to unlock the game as soon as possible" stunt.

Hats the way to do it!

Have they even cited a reason why it's releasing later on PC?

Still waiting for you to post how you were cheated out of 100% completion because an argivated wooly mammoth kept bucking you off so you couldn't complete a challenge run.

Stardew Valley is exactly what I expected and wanted. I have a few issues with the game so far (most of which can be patched/fixed), but overall it's one of the best Harvest Moon clones out there, and it's easily on par with some of the best 2D HMs.

Nope. It's a "strategic" delay.

Shh, don't give the game ideas!

4 is supremely boring. Even more so than in 3 it's far too easy to fill up your wallet and be positively dripping with skill points, at which point collectable hunting becomes a chore as you're gaining absolutely nothing.

Alright, who are you and what have you done with JaseC?

Haha, the AssCreed team needs to teach the Far Cry team a thing or two about collectables. ;) Actually, I've read they're handled much better in Primal, in part because crafting is now much more important.

It doesn't suck though. Not in my experience.

It sort of does. Maybe you expect different things, I suppose, and that's acceptable. In my eyes, I see a fighter that's essentially forcing online play (since you can't have an arcade CPU v 1P anymore), but with horrendous net code. Net code so bad that I can be in a 5-bar battle lounge with someone in my city and experience rollback. This also happened to Leafhopper and InfiniteNine in their matches, and they're within a couple of states between each other. Online with people outside NA is even worse, just ask ExoSoul about our matches ever since he won one of the copies of SFV I gave away. That's only one, thing, though, and Capcom has even apologized for that.

There's then the whole rage quitting issue I've been encountering, funnily enough even in casual matches. People refuse to take their losses, and there's zero penalisation for it. Yes, they've addressed it. They haven't decided how they're advancing with it, though, and to report it you'd have to record it rather than them having a similar system to games like...League of Legends, where you lost out on points and have a time restriction on when you can join your next game.

They rushed the game for EVO, this isn't much of a secret.

E: This post is too long. Must be how Dr Dogg feels.

Just finished Expeditions: Conquistador. Fantastic strategy game, with so much to explore and discover. Interesting historical setting, nice difficulty, engaging story and quests with choices that actually do matter a lot.
Definitely not recommended for people who dislike reading though. There is a ton of text, but it is well written and I loved reading it.

I do see where you, and many others, are coming from, and I am not going to defend a corporation. Your example does sound bad, and you have every right to be frustrated, and I also agree, that they will have to do something about the rage quits.

I think I just have different expectations, as I am okay with the barebones packet (as I have already gotten much more out of it, than any other game the past three years), and I see it more as a service, that have huge amount of potential to grow into something big.

I loved the few hours I played, writing was amazing, I should replay it and see if I can make it further without everybody dying from starvation.

Yeah, it'll be fixed in good time. Capcom has recognized all of our complaints. There's going to be a patch soon for the online, according to them. They're working on how to fix the whole rage quit issues. They're also adding quite a bit of things next month outside of the store, iirc: Trials and Battle Tips for one. Battle Tips I'm not huge on, but it's a good introduction to beginners. Trials I especially like as it gives you the opportunity to try out some characters you haven't bothered with before in a bit of a controlled place, focusing on combos and the like.

Personally, I've enjoyed my time. It's just a bit annoying to have your screen essentially be a slide show. Did make me finish what there is of story, so far, though, and easy mode of survival entirely. I'm looking forward to later additions, too.

Have you found yourself in a position where you have enough fight money you're going to open the store and just be like... "Hmm, what do I get?" Because I have 250k~ in fight money, and it's just 100k for a DLC char. I'm surprised it's that easy to earn, and it doesn't seem they're changing that (which I love) since they're going to eventually introduce these things called "Targets" where you try to meet x goals and earn fight money or in-game titles, etc.

I think I have around 120k. I haven't been in a hurry, as I have been more about reading, practicing and understanding the mechanics underneath the game. This is my first Street Fighter and learning have been the fun part to me.

I do plan on completing the rest of Story and Easy in Survival so I'll have enough for Alex, Juri and Ibuki at least.

I did Survival Normal and got to Stage 27 and finally beat Zangief with a pixel of life left. I were so happy and full of joy, and then I realized that I didn't have enough points to buy health. I were insta-dead the round after. I tried four times straight with an ice bag in my hands. Ouch.

How is it that each time I run Pillars of Eternity just for a few minutes I end up having a multi-hour session?

I mean, I'm the JRPG guy. I usually hate the player unfriendliness inherent to cRPGs... How is it that PoE doesn't bother me?

i want to try that game but i'm really stupid with wrpgs, wonder if i would like it, the only wrpg i like was dragon age origins, and the witcher 3 but the witcher 3 is more like a hack and slash game with dialogues

It was pretty straight forward when I played it

Is it better to hold off on Humble Bundles now if you're not sure if you want the second tier? I'm 100% sure I want the $1 tier with Never Alone, but don't want to pick it up now since you can no longer bump up your payment. I really have no interest in the games currently in the second tier.

This is the correct way to go, right?
