They were just acquired by Activision Blizzard for a bajillion dollars.

Think I've confused the order of events. They indeed were in a bad spot last year, with their games revenue shrinking at an alarming rate, but a few months later, after that reported net profit. Activision bought them. Still, I'm not sure if CC popularity is at its peak anymore, at least I don't see people going nuts for it as them used to. But, of course, I'm taking things out of my ass here, so they might be doing better than ever before.

Fell asleep way too early and missed all FFXV stuff. Will probably watch the event either way. Already expected PC not being a simultaneous release. No biggie, I can wait.

Here are two videos on Gamersyde. Final Fantasy XV new demo
Movies based on games are 99% sure to be crap.
Super Mario Bros., Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat though. Doom was also fun.
Seems like there's a movie settled in the FF15 universe in the works and a trailer/teaser of it has just leaked?

Sounds almost like a joke to me lmao
I like CG movies. Cool.
finished Cubetractor which was super neat, but I had to skip one of the optional levels / puzzles because it was doing my head in and I couldnt find a solution online and I cba hammering my dick against the wall, I do enough of that with the Souls games. Still, really cool, and relatively short (steam says 4 hours, more if you go for perfect score on each level Im sure) if you want to rack up some points with the 52 games in a year thing

heres what you do in the game, just a basic example. the last combo which createst a grid makes turrets on those spots shoot faster. its neat.
Looks interesting. I have it but haven't played it.

Too bad there isn't an option to turn off unlimited continues.

The shame you feel every time you use one should be enough to stop you from using them! ;)

.

I get that Double Dragon and Mortal Kombat are trashy but fun movies... even Doom is a nice B-Tier Sci-Fi romp... but SMB... just no...

The FFXV demo on PS4 ran fine to me. Then again I have the Xbox version to compare which was just the worst when playing Duscae. However my PC would probably run it better, so I wonder if they'll announce that soon. Since all signs point to Yes on that. Hopefully it's a good port though. Would rather wait a few months if it meant Qloc or someone did it.

you'll get a DotEmu port and you'll like it

Thanks, looks cool, I'll give it a try when I finish The Witcher 2.

Well there are Sonic Colors and Unleashed.
Otherwise the Awesome Taxman ports of Sonic 1-3 XO

The Taxman ports would be my one exception to my "please anything other then Sonic" rule. Or a random remaster of Sonic R, just because that would be so hilariously Sega.

fuck me, now every PC port thread has some joker posting "will wait for the eventual PS4K update/port."

Thanks, Sony, you've created another tier of console portbegging with this shit

Tabata on FFXV PC version

FFXV director Hajime Tabata told Engadget that the studio isn't currently working on a PC version of the game. But, Tabata said he was "aware of the big call for a PC version."

"Unfortunately we weren't able to do simultaneous development on a PC and console version for XV," he said. "We had to focus on the console version and our goal was to maximize, optimize everything for the HD consoles. Once that's done, then we will definitely take a good, hard look at PC and what we need to do, and consider all our options. But right now we aren't decided, we're still considering a lot of things."

FFVII: AC is one of my favorite movies to just have on while I'm dinking around. And I wasn't even the biggest fan of the game :p

I'm finally reaching the end of Witcher 3. Who knew that what I thought was 2/3rds through the first time I played was maybe 2/5ths? Game just keeps going and going.

I got the level 34 weapon/armor designs when I was at level 32. I figured I'd make them then eat that 1 hour potion that gives you two levels. I'm sure I'll catch up in time. What could go wrong?

I almost wanted to make a thread about it, but the newest Walking Dead Michonne ep is only 1 hour..

Telltale was already pushing it with barely 1 and a half hour episodes but common.. 1 hour?

I'd be fine with one hour if they make the choices truly divergent. Give me a basically completely different third act and motivation to play through it more than once, and I'd actually prefer shorter episodes. But if it's still fake choices most of the time, then yeah, that's bad.

I finished the first episode of LiS yesterday.

Does the pacing of this game pick up at all? the first episode felt a bit long and had a filler moment or two that left me audibly sighing.

No, the pacing is all over the place and some of the later episodes are way too long.

The following features will be implemented at a later date in April:
- Button/Keyboard Configuration*
- Rank Match
- Rankings
- Replay Viewer

We seek for your kind patience.

*After the game has successfully booted once, the keyboard configuration file "localsettings.ini" will be automatically created in the game's local content folder. You can open the file using Windows notepad and edit the keyboard configurations manually. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

well fuck

do they at least tone down the interactive objects? there are a ton of them in the first episode and the adventure gamer inside of me can't help but select all of them in case they're important.

Panning is sluggish in the browser sadly and resolution also not good. 360° videos are pretty cool though. Looking forward to 360° videos in the future.

I had to choose 2160p to get good resolution on my 1080p display for some reason. But that definitely cause chrome to struggle

Ayo this game looks slick

Not only it has a very nice art style, also the music is pretty good.
Samples from MG website:
Dirà "Minchia! - Composed by Takaki Moriya
Giselle - Composed by Gao
Hex - Composed by Yusuke Tatsumi
Sanctus - Composed by Gao
The House in Fata Morgana - Composed by Mellok'n
The Maid(Piano)- Composed by Mellok'n

Yep, I had to quote for a bit. Was starting to rage.

I just did the same. I need to get better accustomed to the dodge mechanic.
