Why did you join a hate group? <--- SEE WHAT I DID THERE? I won't link to any posts but that's an inside joke from a recent post where someone made a statement similar to that.

I'm all for using resources to open new business ventures but that's taking things too far. Where does the tithing money go?
No clue didn't asked just bounced as I have a get together to go to. Was set up with 9 chairs, 5 cushions on the fireplace bottom shelf, a curtain with a macbook and a chalk board

Goddamn, the DOOM beta is some trash. Controls are slow as hell, the UI clutters the whole screen, and the guns feel weak as hell. This shit ain't even DOOM, it's Halo with a red tint.

The single player is probably gonna be the highlight of the game not enough to save it from bad reviews & sales though.

Like I was saying earlier just buy new pants, or at that point steal some new pants, fuck don't go to the party, be late to the party, literally anything else.

BVS had so much wasted potential. And a lot on bullshit nonsense.
Why is there congressional hearing for the thing in the desert and not, you know, him damn near leveling Metropolis?

I can dig WW though. Her and Lex were the movie.
RIP Mercy.

One thought occurs: I bet Smuder could make an Invicible movie. That's closer to his vision of superman.

Not fixing that.

I does feel like he's using these movies to audition to be head of the Image Movieverse.

Why anyone is surprised at all that a show, any show, on CBS is generic, unoriginal, and cheesy, I'll never know.

CBS is a network that thrives on non-threatening and utterly predictable programming. It's a station that the elderly from all across the country can turn on and leave on all day and never have their life views challenged or be forced to think about anything more than the face value of what they're watching.

Once in a blue moon they might have a show that bucks that trend but it's usually pulled into the norm for the station pretty quickly even when it does happen.

Forget about that,
how the hell do you frame Superman for SHOOTING PEOPLE?! Superman murdered everyone in your village with bullets, huh? And somehow this is enough to sew the seeds of doubt in everyone's mind. If Lex hadn't used special bullets even Lois would've assume Superman killed them. Can't wait to frame Spider-Man for killing people with Spider-Bullets.

That being said, I hope this is the end of people trusting his "vision". Dude needs to be fitted with the M. Night leash, who to his credit has made more enjoyable films than Synder. More being indicative of both a higher quantity of films as well as a higher derived quality of enjoyment. (Also M. Night has still never lost money on a film)

It's amazing that Suckerpunch didn't ruin him.

Invincible is one of the few comic properties I actually care about seeing Synder on that would be awful. Although if you could rein in his influence and grab up a decent writer maybe. Invincible is still 80% light dramedy 20% organ punching.

So what is there to like about BvS?

What is good from the movie? Genuinely good. A coworker of mine liked it he said and thought it was awesome, and is surprised the movie is flopping hard.

When I asked him this question, he just said the movie is awesome and liked the action. I couldn't even get into the film even for base reasons for those.

I might recommend him The Raid to see hear his reaction.

Every time I find my mom watching TV it's either NCIS or Little House On The Prairie.

Ben Affleck makes an excellent Batman. If I saw that Batman coming at me I'd be legitimately shitting myself. Gal Gadot played a great Wonder Woman and they managed to make the lasso of truth not-dumb. The fight choreography is some of the best I've seen and when you finally see Bats and Supes square down it's awesome. And even though Jesse Eisenberg doesn't fit Lex Luthor, his hammy-ass acting was still some of the most enjoyable stuff in the film. Not quite Mr. Freeze tier. More one level removed from Jim Carey Riddler tier.

It looked REALLY nice. I don't think you can fault Snyder for his ability to "recreate comic book panels on screen". Also the action was fairly easy to follow without necessarily looking boring, or low budget (compared to say, Avengers 1, which was like a high budget TV show)

Affleck was a great Bruce Wayne, Irons killed it, soundtrack is a delight, movie is treat visually, the Batman action scenes are fast paced and enjoyable, some apparently enjoyed Gadot's presence. Adams and Fishbourne had a cute scene or two, Cavil was decent enough as Clark Kent. The concept of the Congressional Hearing is really interesting not executed well but interesting.

Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman.

A bit overrated..hardly a reason to spend hard earned money. Affleck Batman? Yeah, a one viewing pass. Her? The best has already been seen in the trailers, and you can listen to that supposed "better than sex" theme music that plays whenever she's on-screen via YouTube..

Money better spent buying you/I a bottle..😏

I wouldn't say I liked anything in the movie. There just things I couldn't complain much about. WW is one of them.

Fuck spending 12 bucks and sitting down for 2 hours to see her do something though.

The screen tearing in the Doom beta is crazy but it feels pretty good to play. Movement speed needs to be increase by about 20-30% though it's too slow currently.

There are nuggets of " there is an idea here " . But its also 5 movies, so whatever solid ideas they had, get muddled in the 5 movies they wish to make at once.

All I'm saying. Congrats on having her in, but it's not like it was some profound shit. Bruce/Bats was CLEARLY a bigger overall part, and the easiest to market..as always.

My ticket was $5 with $3 discounted, so $2. About a dollar an hour.

Grilled lamb AND $2 movie tickets?? Yeah..we hooking up before the year is over..

Probably pees in the shower and gets his groceries from dumpsters.

Why do people on this forum seem to have such a hard time taking care of themselves?
Ignore them. There are too many nasty things.
Why would you even make a thread about your terrible personal hygiene for everyone to see and judge?

I actually think a lot of things could be lifted from BVS and put into better movies. Like, the whole beginning with Bruce's POV in Metropolis could work great for the Ms. Marvel film after Captain Marvel.

As a side note,
whats with all the hero death? Superman, Han Solo, Captain America.
That and heroes fighting heroes are like the theme of the year.

I guess Fox deserves a round of applause for the most seamless franchise reboot ever done with X-Men. Fass and Mac are the new canon now, plus the timey whimey toss of Wolverine into the future allows Hugh Jackman to graciously bow out. Now get Laura on screen. And Layla Miller, Megan Gwynn, Abigail Boylen, and Molly Hayes.
Why are all my favorite characters (save Abby) mutants? Only other character is Magik…

about death...(bvs spoils)
why the hell would you have superman's 'death' in the first movie of your stupid justice league setup?

like, in some alt universe where i didn't mind watching straight garbage for 2.5 hours, why the hell would i feel compelled to watch the subsequent movies for supes? it would be creatively stupid for the same plot point to happen again.

To hammer if that he's
Jesus when the resurrection occurs in JL, also it is a legitimate setup for a "turn the tide" comeback
