Where you're from - Born in San Francisco, lived in Germany, and Delaware before settling down in Stone Mountain, Georgia when I was in 4th grade. Consider myself from Atlanta.
Where you live - I live in Lawrenceville, GA
What is your age? - Just turned 40. Yeah I'm old, but it's a good thing Black don't Crack.
Your cultural heritage, lineage and genealogy - I'm Black American, with lineage that includes some White American (more than likely massa's handiwork) and Native American on my Father's side, and my Mother is half Black American and Japanese. However my immediate family all look the same.
Do you know your roots - I watched Roots if that's any help. They did my nigga Kinta Kunte wrong. Oh and I look forward to the upcoming adaptation. Seriously tho, my father grew from out of the Black power movement in the 70's, so I was raised in a very pro black household especially at a time when the art also reflected it.
Favorite musical genre - Contemporary R&B/Hip Hop
Your profession/major/career interest - Sr. Technical Recruiter/Mass Communications/desire to create an all black role playing videogame through a black american lens.
Your religious affiliation - Atheist with reverence to the historical and cultural significance of The Black Church within America. I love gospel music.
Hobbies - Video games, women, sports, music, books, battle rap, talking shit
KFC, Popeye's, Churches, or Bojangles? - It's chicken. I'm genetically predisposed to liking all of it, although I don't think I've ever had Bojangles.

No real preference. No favorites to be honest. Perhaps in the past I did, but we've been bombarded with so much superhero shit for over the last decade, that it's all beginning to blend in together into one generic superhero blob. LOL

In terms of soundtrack, easily the Lion King. Too many good to great Disney movies for me to have favorites but I am partial to the Disney Renaissance films.

Thanks for the warm welcome you guys.

Truthfully, being away has been empowering for me and if there's anything I learned these past two years is that putting happiness above everything else is a great way to live life.

Just as long as sweets isn't it haha

I've thoroughly studied and consistently engaged in dialogue about race and the history and residual effects of white supremacy, racism, and anti blackness. Not to mention my own lived in experience as a lightskinned black american who grew up in a predominantly black environment in a white dominated country. My patience wouldn't be tried, because it's routine and expected and can easily be countered with facts, studies, and history. If anything, I may look forward to it. LOL
