Looking at the original post, the word in question is 安定した, which the dictionary defines as "steady; stable; calm; firm". I suppose the intent is to say that the animation was consistently solid.

But ouch, that post sounds so much like the result of a very stern lecture by some executive.

I apologize for my previous remarks, which needlessly made the situation a bigger deal.

Also, regarding the final episode's script, I participated in the composition meeting, and when we asked what to do for the final episode, I proposed something like, "How about going to Sendai? Then Machi gets into an accident, Natsu hurries by car to save her, they get back together at the climax of the story, and it ends." If there are people who feel uncomfortable with corresponding sections, it's my responsibility. I am sorry.

I may not have to say this, but the anime has intense action, sex appeal, cute gestures, and, of course, well-balanced sakuga that can't be expressed in the manga. It has original elements, characters and pastoral village scenery I couldn't draw. It has many wonderful highlights.

These gifts are the hard work of none other than the anime staff, and they did their best up until the end. I want to convey my appreciation for all their work. Thank you very much.

Sad the manga's creator basically is being forced to lie and say he thought it was good.

Seriously loved that episode from start to goofy finish. Great story pacing, good action, and great way to further grow Benio and Rokuro's relationship by expanding their familiar dispositions as well as fighting their battle together. Super power up baby!

This episode was awesome! I absolutely love when they play the theme song (especially when it's a good one) during a climatic battle.

On a final note, would like to give a heart fuck you to Anime Expo management for multiple organizational and planning failures during the weekend. Had to withstand a literal stampede to get into the Trigger panel on Sunday. On Monday they canceled Tsurumaki and Shintani's autograph sessions because they forgot that they had booked airplane tickets for them that morning. Ooops. Maybe they should have told people that before they waited hours in the morning for an autograph ticket.

That was a real arse-ache, but apparently the autograph staff only even found out because Sushio told them, having overheard the discussion whilst doing his own autograph session at the same time.

(I also have pretty much the same Nico sketch, except in b&w since it was pretty much the second-to-last Yoneyama did. I spent four hours in that autograph area on Monday and that's the only thing I got out of it. Still worth it, though!)

Umm, that was umm, interesting? There was some good comedy, but the characters are pretty shitty and the 2D-kun knock-off was the worst. Also didn't need the panty shit in there.... I'll give it the three episode rule to see if it gets any better, but not a great 1st episode, imo.

That's absolutely embarrassing. Unless Tsurumaki and Shintani bought their own airplane tickets, how the hell do you screw that up? Supposedly Minami cancelled multiple sessions too so something was probably happening there as well.

Yoneyama does super nice sketches due to how clean her line art is. I have a really nice one of Maki from the last day, which is my favorite from AX.

All those locations. She is just as annoying as I remember, but the Saiki dodging scenes and nendo moment made me laugh out loud.

Interesting, from the preview it looks like they are changing the order of the manga around quite greatly. But this is probably for the best, since it is a needed backstory that likely wouldn't of gotten covered by the anime if it followed the manga's order.

Tsunderes are at their cutest when they are the MC of a show. I love that she recognizes her outbursts of violence are just her way of hiding her emotions. Probably my second favorite first episode of the season.

Saki is the mahjong anime in which you need to know the least about the rules anyways because it's all about them superpowers being used for the game.

I enjoyed the series without knowing a lick about mahjong. Plus they do a good job of having people's reactions and internal monologue get across how significant a move was.

This is some real gutter trash but I'll probably watch more episodes of it then Berserk because its less repulsive and will have less rape. Aine said like three sadistic things and then the tendency was dropped immediately. Every time zzzzzzzz
