So I'm gonna post this here since me and a buddy tank have been looking for people to do mythic+ higher end ones.

So we are looking for 3 DPS who would like to do mythic+ stuffs over the weekend and sometimes weekdays at primetimeish (lets say 7 or 8pm EST). WE would love to farm any +2/+3 keys with anyone as well. We also are looking for people who are willing to go with us beyond mythic+5 (cause its fun to get hit by tyrannical and sanguine mobs right??) and learn through the dungeon and eventually clearing it.

We are in Horde NA. Feel free to add my bnet: Tetron#1175

Why am I getting 810 drops from World Quests when I'm 850+? I thought these things we're supposed to scale to keep them relevant.

Besides Ley Race (which was bugged for me today so I couldn't see the mana beams), all the Kirin Tor WQs are shite anyway. Sometimes I seriously wonder if I can even be arsed doing them all just for the fun, fun reward of 800 gold/some order resources and an 810 blue when I'm in full epics.

did LFR with my 835 holy priest and...felt awful. Was last on healing on every boss I think against a shaman (who had twice my healing), 2 palis and...err...dunno, something else I forget.

My monk back when I did LFR was top with 1 hand behind my back, I was top on my normal EN also. Granted my monk has quite a few ilvls on my priest but still, something felt...off.

is Holy in a bad place or something, or am I just low geared / not used to it?

and yes, I know being top healer doesnt matter etc

Had the WQ bugged as well, just repeated patterns until they worked. Too like ~3 or 4 attempts per successful one. Thanks, Jim!

And yeah, the rewards scale a lot slower than I expected for WQs. I thought they were supposed to try to keep up a bit better than just plateauing at the 840s. Unless it's some breakthrough they'll hit when I get to 870+.

Aforementioned tank, 862 Vengeance DH, 852 Blood DK (though more-or-less converting the DK into my DPS alt probably?). scy#1745 for mine.

Man, all GAF posters who want people for Mythic+ groups etc. are all horde. Are there ANY alliance players on here? lol

I just can't make the 5-man times for my guild because they're pacific time. I raid with them 10pm-1am my time on two nights and that's quite enough. Worried I won't have a group for Karazhan at this rate...

Up to 841 now, but damn is it tough to get into mythic groups. And a side effect of being a little slow in gearing up is that there are less regular mythic groups now and a lot more keystone groups. Feelsbadman.

A suggestion to you, make your own groups. Most people don't make their own groups because they cba.

They honestly need to just make regular mythics queueable. They're as easy as heroics.

I have a for a few, it's just funny. With all the handwringing I was expecting something intense, but they're pretty easy.

edit: regular mythic I mean. Haven't done anything with a keystone.

Would be great. Put a minimum item level on there and you're good to go.


Part of the problem is I'm DPS and I'm sure when I sign up to a group they're seeing 10 other DPS sign up. But with no queue system it creates a weird scenario where you don't start getting invited to groups until you outgear the content you're trying to do.

I am mystified why normal mythics are not queueable. I get the keystones ones, of course, but the normal ones?

Now that you mention, a lot of the decisions seem odd this expac. Not sure if I like the mindset of the people in charge. They've also shown they can't balance for shit.

For group finder, they should just put whether the person applying meets your ilvl request or not. I'd be interested to see the fallout of that.

Got boosted with my Court of Stars+4 stone. Seriously, this group. No idea if my group will ever be able to do stuff like that, probably not with our classes and speccs. Got 860 Hands and 850 Boots out of it, they had better secondaries, even though I now lost the 6 piece bonus of the order hall set.

How did you get a +4 stone so quickly? Or is it possible to get something other than a +2 out of your weekly chest on Tues?

I've run Firelands 3 times on my Druid to be a cool fire cat but instead I've just had both mounts drop.

I've also run it plenty on other characters

I just assumed an EU stone since their reset is tomorrow. But yeah, the Keystone you do get is based off the highest you cleared the week before.

I did similar things in BC and loved my max agility-gear offtank role.

Having to gear for threat is interesting. Having to gear for survival is interesting. However, the optimal setup if you have to gear for threat is, in fact, having to gear for just enough threat and just enough survival, since both are fundamentally binary; either you are holding threat off your raid or not, either you are staying alive if you're not. And that's not fun, for two reasons: One, it's very situational, and a gearset effective for one fight may not be effective for another. And two, once you've got enough, there's not much motivation to do it 'better'

Started playing with my settings after seeing my screenshot looked ugly, now running on #10 preset just with view distance on 5, environment detail on 7 and particles on low (due to the bug). I'm also able to play at 150% render and maintain 60+fps in almost all situations, the game actually runs slightly better at 150% than 100%, my guess is because it works the GPU harder and I have a 970 which can take it? I dunno but my game looks miles better now.

That actually sounds interesting and not that bad. Sucks that we get those affixes on the weekend I'll be out of town for Thanksgiving.

Last week's Sanguine wasn't super hard for us, especially as a DK who can grip things out of the koolaid. But it got harder towards the end of the night as I got more tired/drunk. Teeming/skittish sounds like something that I can autopilot on.

I got a BiS 885 ring for my DH off the world boss today. The bad news is this is the Havoc DH I've been bringing to raids and I haaaaate the spec. I was recruited to tank but then bumped from that to Havoc and I am miserable dpsing with it. And so of course I am getting lucky rolls all over the place. I just stayed silent last night and didn't even roll on 885 BiS trinket and chest that dropped in our heroic kills in Emeral Nightmare because I'm going to either have them let me change character or quit the raid.

The keystone you get depends on the highest Mythic+ you did the week before. We finished +5 (not in time) and got a +4 keystone at the start of the week. I am not sure how exactly it decays though. Some people thought it's a flat -2, but that was not true for us. I would guess it's more like a 25% or 33% decrease and rounded up to the next level.

So much for a "boost" group. Apart from some shit pulling, it was going reasonably well. Then the healer DCd and got bumped off Cordanas platform. And stayed down there. Because Blizz can't code in redundancies for platforms.

Fucking hell. At least I get the OH chest from a different run made with guildies.

So question regarding dungeons. On my Arms Warrior I've been thinking of picking up prot on the side, could I queue as prot and tank the dungeon, but switch to Arms before looting bosses and then switch back?

my ret's up to 848ish now so i can switch from tanking and being bad. I'll be here this weekend but next weekend im out

If it's just loot you're after, just switch your loot specialization in the unit frame menu.

Right click your character pane and you can set your loot spec separate from your actual spec.

So you can be in Prot but get loot for Arms.

I would be interested running mythics and mythic +. Currently 845 resto druid is my highest item level, but i am usually on most nights for an hour or 2 NA horde. Zarnold56#1358 battle tag

Anyone knows if Riposte (Rogue) which gives 100% parry for 10 seconds works vs Trampling Slam of Ursoc? it says it does physical damage so in theory it should right? can't find any information about it
