The biggest thing is that both Michigan and OSU are getting fantastic classes, but there has been few direct competition between the two, we are both going with a huge national recruiting push. This is a far cry from Lloyd vs Tressel, both in the fact that both of us are doing far better at recruiting, and that we are no longer huge recruiting rvials.

The real winner from this? The rest of the Big Ten can gain access to Ohio much easier, but then Michigan and OSU are much better. The MAC is the real winner, just look at WMU and Toledo recruiting, dear God, they do better than many P5 schools.
Agreed with all of this

Harris thinks Jim is a god..

I told you that you were flipping him

Najee wearing a Michigan shirt to school.

Long time until NSD...

Harris is an EE.
Yup.. if he flips.. that's pretty much it.

The panda at the Atlanta Zoo picked Bama.

More SEC bias, SMH.

Edit: Chubb and Michel returning to UGA next year it seems. Also OLBs Carter and Bellamy.

Max Browne going to Pitt.

DPJ is announcing tonight at 8:30 on ESPN2

I am also getting way to confident that Harris flips, this is how disappointment comes.

But everything is starting to point him being blue... goddammit I need to stop getting hyped over where a HS kid chooses to go to school.

Oh and member when the NFL guys thought that Harbaugh would hate recruiting? He loves bragging about Michigan and choosing his roster.

RoJo decision was 10 years ago, didn't work out in Michigan's favour. Hopefully it's different this time.
I remember that, that was when I first started following recruiting, but everyone knew that USC had a good shot at him. DPJ is being 100% CBed to Michigan.

We ended up sniping a different 5* CB from USC right after we lost Johnson though. Member Donovan Warren? Both turned out to be only decent though

Who can forget Warren? Hype was quite high for him after his Freshman year. He ended up being a good corner. He and Ernest Shazor are the two guys who left early for the NFL, went undrafted and were never heard from again before it became commonplace.

Aw man I loved Shazor. Broke my heart when he left.

I despise Michigan almost as much as I despise Alabama and Texas Tech.

It's hard for me to decide which school is the worst out of those 3 deplorable schools.

Golden Domers are chickenshit!!
Stahp, you're just trying to jinx it for us
Nah, everything I've read recently has fully indicated that he's going to Michigan.

I'm still not certain about any of our other 5* early enrollees, either. None of them have sent in their paperwork yet, even the ones who are "shutting down their recruitment."

They have till the eighth of January right?

Long way to go till February 2018, Moses was committed to LSU for a LONG time before swapping, Harris has been committed to Bama for 18 months, and now rumors of him flipping are seriously picking up steam.

All that means is that Clemson leads right now.

I'm still not convinced Harris is flipping tbh. But I suppose we'll see.

I like that the guys are staying, it helps give us some senior leadership next year and maybe we can make the SECCG.

Not surprised. Chubb has arguably had the biggest stock fall of the season. He was a preseason Heisman trophy candidate. By the end of the year not a whisper.

Not that he would be drafted in like round 6 or something now. He'd still go relatively high. Yet his draft stock had to have fallen. Come back and try round two with the coach and qb.

Bama is actually having a bit of a down recruiting year and there is a very good chance they lose at least Harris in this class, but yeah OSU is having a crazy year.

As it stands right now, this just isn't true for any of the recruiting services:

ESPN: 1.Bama 2.OSU
Rivals: 1.Bama 2.OSU
24/7: 1.Bama 2.OSU
Scout: 1.Bama 2.OSU

Scout and Rivals don't even have it particularly close.

Bama isn't in it for a lot more highly rated players, and we're at risk of losing 1-3 of the commits that we currently have. tOSU and UM still have many highly rated players on their board. We do not finish first this year in recruiting.

The 247 composite shows the Alabama class is a tiny bit down from some previous years, which floated in the 310-320 range (307 now), but this is an improvement over last years 301.

OSUn's current 300 is one of the higher marks a program not named "Alabama" has had in the last few years. It also has room to expand, as it's only based on 17 players. I have no idea how many players OSUn is looking to pick up.

At best 20-23 and even then I don't know how we are going to have all that space..

It's looking like we will have Jaylen Harris, Jeff Okudah, Darnay Holmes to add still and that will be that.

Maybe Marvin Wilson.. wish we could add Bubba Bolden to because he's such an excellent player.. but that would make 7 DBs in one class... no way we can take that many
